2moI got my students to record themselves on their mobile phones every day in my classes and that was nearly ten years ago! Nowadays it is much easier and students can get transcripts, check them and copy them into ChatGPT to get suggestions on how to improve them. Teachers can ask students to send them a link to their best recording every week/fortnight/month/term for assessment
