Ramya Gowda and I rocking our presentation on site readiness! Key takeaways: 1. Site scalability (size, power, water) is critical 2. Clearly define site attributes (utility capacities especially, as well defined as you can convince your engineers to put in writing), have it ready to go in a digital file or available for download on a marketing website (IMPORTANT: articulate clear site boundaries - make a .KMZ file for free in Google Earth and attach every time you send a site marketing piece. Ambiguous site boundaries are super annoying!) 3. How does your state or region compare to others in terms of industrial policy? Seek out best practices from other areas that are investing in their critical infrastructure and site readiness to be prepared for mega projects in semiconductor and related supply chain, EV battery and battery supply chain, critical materials, data center investments and other emerging industries.
It was a pleasure co-presenting with Carrie Zethmayr, this week at the Women in Economic Development Forum in Chicago! Many thanks to Area Development for the speaking opportunity!

“What you do and what drives you?” Many elements in one paragraph. But I’ll unfold my remark on: The passion of creating value I’ve always been driven throughout my life to solve problems, optimize and/or bring value. Whether it’s a simple system that saves time at work or a simple habit in my everyday life. … like structuring your workspace for optimal operation. … Or planning one’s schedule like a tetris. … Or optimizing so you won’t have to walk twice from A to B (you with me?) I love to consider a problem like a puzzle. There is always a solution. Like the current inefficient and problem causing wardrobe system at venues. Neither the guest, employee or venue perceive the wardrobe as anything else than an annoyance and something to get over with. With Keypitt, I aim to solve the multiple problems and convert the wardrobe into added value. A digital wardrobe system, that not only removes worry, loss and discussions. But adds datainsights, value and smiles on people’s faces. Reach out if you’re curious to hear, how Keypitt could elevate your venue. Have you experienced frustrations with traditional wardrobe systems? Do you see a need for added value? #StartupLife #EventTech #Solofounder #FemaleFounder #DataDriven

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN (Europe) My community re-opens a week today (eek) for ten days only, which means once I've welcomed a cohort of brilliant new women inside, there will be opportunities to squeeze those new members, just like this pic from my last networking event, where I hugged every single person (who was willing!). Solo founders need ways to connect, and I'm here to facilitate that connection online and offline. It's a dreamy combo. How do you find connection and people to share the journey with as a solo founder? https://lnkd.in/e5iZmZwA

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, I’m honored to share a very special Cannon Curve that spotlights some of the women pioneering the financial industry. I’m joined by Jennie Karrels Menzie Menzie, CEO and President of Cumberland Trust, Elizabeth Rodgers, President of Synovus Trust, Emily Dye, Trust Officer at Cumberland Trust, and Anne Douglass Williams, Relationship Manager at Synovus Trust. The dynamic of this group of women is refreshing, and each brings their personal journeys, insights, and fresh perspectives, as well as their experiences, challenges, and the importance of mentorship to the conversation.
