Thanks for a great IABMAS (International Association for Bridge Management and Safety)! It has been amazing meeting new people and finally seeing in person those I've only known online! This was the first IABMAS conference I attended, and I was very positively surprised by the high caliber and quality of both the people and the presentations. The past 4 days have been filled with great experiences, culminating in a technical visit to the beautiful Øresund Bridge, led by Bengt Hergart and Rolf Sundqvist. I had the opportunity to present our paper on Senmos, a user-centered approach to structural health monitoring, with applications on Lillebæltsbroen af 1935. It was fascinating to discuss the involvement of diverse professionals, beyond structural engineers, in the operations of structural health monitoring, and to explore new ways of looking at and working with data. Over the past few days, I've seen many presentations demonstrating how digitalization is revolutionizing bridge operations and maintenance. Some innovations that stood out to me include: - Automatic detection of cracks and defects using machine learning and drones. - Predictive machine learning analysis for risk management, providing local accurate wind predictions up to 9 hours into the future, outperforming physics-based approaches. - Simplified Digital Image Correlation, making it more accessible for bridge operators to use themselves (Jan Winkler). - Risk assessments through probabilistic calculations, utilizing readily available data from reports, inspections, design, and more. - Large-scale data management when dealing with hundreds of sensors and assets. These topics were particularly compelling, and I plan to delve deeper into them. I was also humbled by the openness of everyone in sharing ideas and their thoughts on current challenges and potential collaborations for the future. A deep integration of mobility services within a territory can lead to increased efficiency in transport supply production as well as a reduction in mobility-related externalities. On January 24th, 2024, the 2nd edition of the MaaS Observatory Meetings took place in France, held within the ATEC ITS 2024 congress. The event aimed to gather sector experts to share their methodologies and common points of reference. Sylvain Daou, Research Officer at PMP Strategy, had the opportunity to attend and present a compelling speech on MaaS' ability to transform public transport.  The presentation featured two key objectives: • Assessing the tangible impacts of MaaS and highlighting the lack of feedback regarding positive outcomes. • Proposing advanced forms of cooperation among mobility services.
