If you are not good at job, being likable may protect you at whatever place you are, yet you will not get a chance to grow because up there their performance depends on your performance.. Sometimes when we find someone closer to boss getting promoted, we want to believe that it is only because of likability. Not really. You may never come to know how the person has been useful to boss or the organisation professionally... Think about it... In any case in world of corporate, likability is temporary.. Here’s the interesting thing about LLMs: I don’t think they can ever truly reflect reality. Why? Because people fabricate information all the time on the internet, for better or worse. There was a popular trend in the early 2000s of CEOs writing memoirs of how they got to be successful, but time has shown these stories to be either anecdotes or false attributions. LLMs can’t truly know what’s going on in a human’s head, and arguably, it’s the bad information that surfaces first because the model is exposed to more bad advice / grifting than good advice. TL;DR: Don’t use an LLM for CEO advice. 😂
