In MAEC's current project with the GIZ Jordan, "Private Sector Advisory Services," we aim to develop a tool for recommending and assessing the appropriate form and share of Private Sector Participation (PSP) in Solid Waste Management (SWM), with a flexibility and an ease-of-use for any municipality. Having Ar-Ramtha Municipality as a case study, and focusing on the importance of waste sorting and recycling, the project will actively work on planning and presenting effective scenarios to improve the performance of the current sorting and recycling plant. By maintaining close communication with potential donors and stakeholders, we aim to facilitate a success story that benefits our beloved country.

🌳🚧 New Challenges: Advancing Environmental Value in Road Construction 🚧🌳 As a sustainability advocate with a passion for creating greener infrastructure 😇, I believe that road construction projects present a unique opportunity to enhance our environment—starting with a simple yet impactful solution: compulsory tree planting. Incorporating tree planting as a standard practice during road construction can significantly improve air quality, support local ecosystems, and help combat climate change. Trees act as natural carbon sinks, reduce urban heat, and provide essential habitats for wildlife. By integrating this vital component into road construction, we can transform thoroughfares into green corridors that benefit both communities and the environment. If you share this vision for sustainable road construction or have thoughts on innovative strategies for environmental enhancement, I’d love to connect and discuss! Let’s pave the way for a greener tomorrow. 🌍💚 #Finima #Bonny #Sustainability #RoadConstruction #TreePlanting #EnvironmentalValue #NLNG #GreenInfrastructure
🌍✨ #WasteManagement is an essential component of sustainable construction practices. As we embark on ambitious projects, it’s crucial to prioritize proper waste management to minimize our environmental footprint and promote community well-being. We want to take a moment to express gratitude to M-P Infrastructure for their commitment to responsible construction practices by choosing Mingi Management Ltd as their indigenous local waste management consultant for the Bonny-Finima Road Expansion Project by NLNG . 🚧 Our collaboration underscores the importance of utilizing local expertise to ensure that waste disposal is handled efficiently and sustainably. By managing waste responsibly, we not only comply with regulatory requirements but also protect our ecosystems and create cleaner, healthier communities. Together, we can pave the way for a greener future, setting a benchmark for waste management in construction. Thank you, MPI Africa, for partnering with us on this journey! Let’s build responsibly! 🚧♻️ #Sustainability #WasteManagement #Construction #LocalExpertise #CommunityEngagement #MingiManagement #MPIAfrica #BonnyFinimaRoadExpansion #Bonny #Finima

70% capital carbon reduction by 2030 when measured against 2010 levels. This is included in Anglian Water Services capital investment target for AMP8. When reducing carbon has been shown to also drive down capital, we should all have a winning story or two. Especially if reduce, reuse, recycle can drive additional value, and is often nterlinked with innovation. Why don’t you share your example with me? On 30th May I attended the Climate for Change event Anglian Water held for their delivery partners (including Binnies) where current performance, the challenge and some innovative examples were presented. My favourite was the marine-substance pipe-liner to avoid mussels growing in pipes and reduce friction. Watch the supply chain for this one ☝️ #innovation #carbon
