In 2022, MAEC partnered with Cyclos GmbH and the Ministry of Environment to develop the extended producer responsibility (EPR) instructions for packaging waste materials in Jordan. Moreover, ongoing consultancy services are progressing to facilitate the implementation of EPR within the industrial and commercial sectors.
