Human trafficking is a devastating crime that affects millions of lives every year, even in our own communities. It’s time to take action and be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. Together, we can raise awareness, protect the vulnerable, and work towards a world where no one has to live in fear of exploitation. We are dedicated to fighting human trafficking through education, advocacy, and direct support for survivors. But we can’t do it alone—we need your help. Here’s how you can get involved: Donate: Your contributions help us fund critical programs that support survivors and prevent trafficking. Volunteer: Lend your time and skills to our cause. Whether it’s through community outreach, events, or advocacy, your involvement makes a huge impact. Spread the Word: Share this post, talk to your friends and family, and help us raise awareness about the reality of human trafficking. Every action counts, and together, we can create a ripple effect of change. 🌟 Standing Together: essence Cares Team supports women’s shelter with donations 🌟 This year, our essence Cares Team set out to make a difference by increasing our product donations, with a focus on empowering women. Led by Tatiana Z., we reached out to the “Frauenhaus Nurdan-Eker” women’s shelter to see how we could help. We discovered that many women arrive at the shelter with little to nothing, especially lacking essential hygiene products. To support them, we donated over 500 items, including hygiene essentials and some of our favorite products like mascara and gloss. Our goal is to not only provide necessities but also to bring a sense of comfort and care to those in need. We are committed to continuing our support for women’s shelters, recognizing them as vital safe spaces for women and their children who are victims of domestic violence. Last year, we launched our initiative “cosnova says NO – united to end violence against women” focusing on standing against violence, discrimination, and inequality. Through this initiative, we aim to raise awareness and provide financial support for women in need. A 100,000 Euro donation to a relief fund benefiting women who cannot afford to stay in shelters across Germany was just the beginning. By supporting women's shelters, we strive to offer not only financial support and physical necessities but also a message of solidarity and empowerment.🧡 #essenceCares #SocialInitiatives #CommunitySupport #WomensShelter #ProductDonation #cosnova #cosnovaSaysNo

Globally, one in three victims of human trafficking are children, and the majority of them are girls. Children are also twice as likely as adults to face violence during trafficking. Children are subjected to various forms of trafficking, including forced labour, crime, begging, illegal adoption, sexual abuse and the online dissemination of abusive images, and some are also recruited into armed groups. This United Nations' World Day Against Trafficking in Persons (30 July), we're joining the campaign to raise awareness of the causes and vulnerabilities associated with child trafficking. There is a critical need for dedicated support for child victims of trafficking, and together we are urging the public and policymakers to address the current shortcomings and accelerate action to #EndHumanTrafficking. This October, we are partnering with Moms and Murder Podcast and Haley Gray Research on an initiative that’s close to our hearts. We’ll create and donate care bags filled with essential items for domestic violence shelters nationwide. Inspired by Rebekah's Legacy, a project founded by Angela, the mother of Rebekah Barsotti—a victim of domestic violence—we’re continuing her mission of hope and healing. Angela’s dedication to honoring her daughter’s memory through these donations has touched so many lives, and we’re excited to carry that forward. 💜 Here’s how you can make an impact: 1️⃣ Find a local shelter through DomesticShelters.org and ask how you can contribute. 2️⃣ Build your own donation bag—it’s affordable, costing around $11 per bag! 3️⃣ Drop off your donations and support survivors and their healing journey. For a full list of suggested items and more details on how to participate, check out this Google doc. https://lnkd.in/gqieYzH9 💼 If you’re joining us, don’t forget to share your bag-building journey! Tag @haleygrayresearch and @momsandmysteriespodcast to spread the word and inspire others to get involved. Let’s stand together in support of domestic violence survivors—one bag at a time! 💪 #RebekahsLegacy #DomesticViolenceAwareness #SupportSurvivors #NavigatingAdvocacy #MomsAndMysteries #TogetherWeCan
