📌 Before gluing, plywood and top veneer must be balanced to control the moisture content: Boards are stacked piece by piece. Then, they are kept in the Balance room, which is ventilated and dry. #Kelaiwood Balance time: above 72H Moisture content control: 6%-10% #plywood #woodflooring #moisturecontent #engineeredwoodflooring #hardwoodflooring #topveneer

The plywood production process starts with logging. Once the trees have reached the required age for cutting, they are logged and carefully selected. The birch wood suitable for plywood production is taken to the factory where it is measured, assessed for quality and prepared for further processing. 🌳 💧 Before the plywood is peeled, the wood is thermally prepared by soaking it in 45 °C hot water for 20 hours. This process is crucial to increase the elasticity of the wood, which is necessary for the veneer to be durable and crack-free. After soaking, the veneer blocks are peeled and the quality and dimensions of the veneer are checked with a camera in order to sort them for their future use in plywood production. The veneers are then dried, inspected and prepared for processing. Quality assessment is essential to ensure that only the best wood is used in the next stages of production. ⚙️ #plywood #plywoodmanufacturing #Latvia #birchplywood

How to Check the Quality of Veneer for Plywood Production Veneer is the main input material for plywood production, and the quality of plywood heavily depends on the quality of the veneer. Therefore, it is crucial to check the quality of veneer before using it in plywood production. In this video, I will share my experience and knowledge on how to check the quality of veneer for plywood production. I will cover four key factors that you need to consider: 1. Thickness: The thickness of the veneer is the most important factor to consider. It must be sufficient and even throughout the entire sheet. 2. Grade: Veneer is typically graded into three categories: A, B, and C. Grade A is the highest quality, followed by B and C. You need to carefully inspect the veneer to determine its grade. 3. Moisture content: The moisture content of the veneer is also important. It should be within a certain range to ensure the quality of the plywood. 4. Size: The size of the veneer should be consistent and meet your requirements. By following the tips in this video, you can ensure that you are using high-quality veneer for your plywood production. #veneer #plywood #coreveneer #marineplywood #howtocheck

Before buying plywood, there are several things to consider. First, check the grade and quality of the plywood. Different grades are suitable for different applications, so make sure the plywood you choose meets the requirements of your project. Next, inspect the plywood for any defects, such as delamination, warping, or damage to the edges. It's important to ensure that the plywood is of good quality and free from any visible flaws. Consider the type of wood used in the plywood. Different woods have different characteristics, and some are better suited for certain applications than others. For example, if you need plywood for outdoor use, consider a type of wood that is naturally resistant to moisture and decay. Lastly, consider the thickness of the plywood. The thickness you choose will depend on the specific requirements of your project, so make sure to select the appropriate thickness for your needs. #WudlayPly #BestPly #WonderFromTimber #Plywood

Basic Crystallizer AK 1 Used to improve the surface and appearance of new as well as old floor coverings made of limestone (e.g. marble, travertine) or cement-bound cast stone (e.g. terrazzo). As a result of a chemical reaction the surface‘s resistance to wear and tear is increased even more. Active substances increase the lustre, enhance the colour and at the same time reduce the hazard of slipping. Finish Crystallizer AK 2 After pre-treatment with Basic Crystallizer AK 1 the Finish Crystallizer AK 2 is used to improve the surface and appearance of new as well as old floor coverings made of limestone (e.g. marble, travertine) or cement-bound cast stone (e.g. terrazzo). A well-balanced combination of chemical substances additionally increases the lustre, enhances the colour and at the same time reduces the hazard of slipping. Matt spots and tread marks can be polished away by repeating the crystallization. #crystallizer #granite #powders #diamondabrasives #industrialuse #floormaintenance #maintenance #polishing #floor #grindingabrasives #grindingtools #concrete #marble #stones #dcrb #waterfreepads #frankfurt #construction #metalbond #abrasives #diamondpads #buffing #grinding #flooring #shiners #fickert #bufferpads #waxes #sealers #gloss
