The beauty of celebrating the ordinary! There is something unique, I have noticed in the last few days of travel in #bhagsu. Whether it's a spiritual gathering, a music concert, a community food offering, or a jam session in the forest, people come together in remarkable ways. It may not always be spectacular or grand, but the energy is undeniably magical. They respect what’s offered, immerse in the moment, and celebrate the ordinary. Somehow, every time it transpires to something extraordinary together. It’s like being part of a tribe that believes in the strength of unity and collective action. Here are a few tips for #HR and #founders: Foster #Community: Create spaces where people can gather and share #experiences, no matter how simple. It can be as simple as book clubs, potlunch. Value #Collaboration:* Emphasize the importance of doing things together. It builds a stronger, more cohesive team. It can be #toastmasters public speaking sessions. My take away from the trip is. Let's #celebrate the ordinary and find magic in the moments we share. ✨ #artofliving #culture #Leadership

Inspired ⚡️by this #TEDTalk by lola Adeyemo on belonging this Sunday morning, I wanted to share my reflections and invite you to imagine a world with me. I'm deeply grateful 🙏 for the experiences that have transformed my perspective, leading me to "linked in" rather than just "out look", to "dive in" (anagram for divine) instead of merely "reaching out”. 🤔🌎✨ Imagine a world or community where belonging isn't about finding an exclusive tribe, but recognizing our shared humanity and human values. 🤝❤️ Imagine instead of focusing on differences, we embrace the common thread that connects us all. 💡🧩Imagine a workplace where every voice is heard, every idea is valued, and every individual feels empowered to contribute their unique perspective. 🎨❤️Picture a community where differences are celebrated, not feared, and where everyone feels a deep sense of belonging. #Belonging: The Missing Piece Where Everyone Thrives We often talk about "belonging" and "fitting in" or “blending in” as if they're the same thing. But are they? Blending in may sometimes feel safe, but is inauthentic and can be source of stress. Belonging is about being seen, heard, and valued for who you truly are. True belonging is bidirectional 💞. It's not just about us finding a place where we feel accepted, but also about creating spaces where others feel like they belong too. It's about fostering an environment of inclusivity, where everyone feels safe to show up authentically. So, what can each one of us do to help everyone's sense of belonging? * Practice active listening: Give people your full attention and show genuine interest in what they have to say. * Embrace differences: Celebrate the diversity of thought, experience, culture, gender and background. * Speak up against exclusion. If you see someone being left out, invite them in. * Create safe spaces (#PsychologicalSafety): Foster environments where people feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear of judgment. * Lead with empathy: Put yourself in others' shoes and try to understand their perspectives. Remember, belonging isn't about being a carbon copy of everyone else. It's about contributing your unique gifts to the world. I read this paragraph long time back somewhere and the last line stuck to me “In the history of the universe, there has been nobody like you and to the infinity of time to come, there will be no one like you. Existence should have loved you so much that it broke the mould after making you, so that another of your kind will never get repeated. You are original. You are rare. You are #unique. You are a wonder. You are a masterpiece. .. Your Master's piece. Celebrate your Uniqueness”❤️💞 Let's all come together to create a world where #everyonebelongs ‼️ ❤️

🎵 On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me... nine voices rising! 🎵 Like the energy of nine ladies dancing, empowerment uplifts individuals and creates transformative momentum. It’s about fostering confidence, independence, and the ability to lead change. What are the nine steps to empowerment? Self-Awareness: Understand your strengths and values. Education: Knowledge is the ultimate power tool. Support: Build a network that believes in you. Mentorship: Learn from those who’ve walked the path before you. Resilience: Turn challenges into stepping stones. Action: Confidence grows through taking steps forward. Representation: See yourself reflected in leadership and success. Celebration: Acknowledge wins, big and small. Inspiration: Empower others and create a ripple effect. ✨ This holiday season, let’s dance to the rhythm of empowerment and uplift each other. How will you empower yourself and others in the year ahead? #ResilienceJourney #MentalHealthAwareness #LinkedinLive #ToxicWorkplaces #Empowerment #SupportCommunity #WorkLifeBalance #HealthAndWellness #PersonalGrowth #StrengthInAdversity

Celebrating the Uniqueness in Our Perspectives God has blessed everyone with vision, but what truly sets us apart is our perspective. It's fascinating how we can all look at the same situation and interpret it in entirely different ways. This diversity of thought is what makes us unique. It's the reason teams thrive when diverse minds come together, why innovation happens when fresh perspectives are welcomed, and why every individual has a value no one else can replicate. So, embrace your perspective—it’s your superpower. And more importantly, honor and learn from others’ viewpoints. Together, our collective uniqueness can create something extraordinary. How has a different perspective enriched your life or work? Share your story in the comments. Let's celebrate our differences! #Diversity #Perspective #Uniqueness #Growth

Reflection: Building a better world. Last week I was reminded that creating positive change can be challenging. We've reached out to numerous organisations and individuals to collaborate and drive impact, but often faced silence. It's disheartening to see self-interest prevail, with some prioritizing personal gain over collective good. However, I remain optimistic. We won't give up. We'll continue seeking like-minded organisations and individuals eager to make a difference. If you're passionate about creating a better world, let's connect! Together, we can: -Foster meaningful partnerships -Drive social impact -Inspire a culture of kindness #UwezeshajiCenter #NPO #SocialImpact #Collaboration #SocialResponsibility

The Presidential Inauguration is just around the corner. This day is a moment of transition which can symbolize change and the potential for new priorities. But it also highlights feelings of hope, uncertainty, and fear for the future. For some, the inauguration may bring a sense of hope and renewal, with the possibility of new leadership addressing pressing issues. This optimism can create feelings of relief, excitement, or motivation to engage in civic action. However, for others, it might create anxiety, fear, or disillusionment, particularly if past promises remain empty. There are ways to combat these negative feelings during this time. We can first take a moment to identify and name our emotions without judgment. We could be feeling uncertain or optimistic. Another way we can manage these difficult feelings is by making time for activities that recharge us. For example, we can exercise, journal, practice mindfulness, or step away from the news to focus on hobbies or nature. If we have feelings of powerlessness or frustration, we can consider turning those emotions into action. We can take actions by volunteering, advocating, or supporting causes that align with our values. While staying informed is important, constant exposure to political coverage can heighten stress. It is important to limit your media consumption if it becomes overwhelming, and focus on trusted, balanced sources. Additionally, stepping away from social media and news entirely for a period of time can create space to process emotions and find balance. It's okay to feel a mix of emotions during this transition as long as we care for ourselves and channel those feelings into something constructive. #mindfulness #mindful #mindfulnesswithsasha #mindfulinsights #DBTSkills #PresidentialInauguration #inauguration #president #newyear #Skills #DBT #change #transitions #emotions #volunteer #civic https://wix.to/S5DMfos
