There are many ways to sell new wines in Korea. 1. How to sell to consumers through a Korean import company 2. How to sell overseas directly online 3. There are many ways to sell wine in Korea. Out of these, the most preferred method for exporters would be number 1. But that is while the wine market in Korea is growing. What if the wine market in Korea is in a bad situation? Number 2 requires a long wait. Also, it is hard to expect big sales. Then how about number 3? What are some companies that have entered the Korean market directly? First of all, these companies have whiskey products. They imported and distributed wine based on whisky distribution. However, the distribution channels of whiskey and wine are slightly different, and the methods are also different. So, they often eventually withdrew from the wine market. On the other hand, what happened to wine companies that entered Korea directly? At first, there were problems such as hiring employees and communicating with customers. But after such a difficult time, most companies have established themselves in Korea. Some companies now have annual sales of more than 5 billion U.S. dollars. You need to invest early in order to establish a company in Korea. First, I need to find a partner to act on behalf of me in Korea. After that, you will need to rent your office and warehouse through a partner. After that, you need to get an import license based on where you rented it. Usually, this period takes about two months. How much will it cost? The initial cost is about 30 million won (22,000 US dollars). For more detail information, please contact WineStein Consulting Korea #wine #Korea #Import #Export #WineStein

Raise your glasses high because #NationalWorldWhiskeyDay is rolling in, and we're highlighting our incredible supplier, KOVAL Distillery, to make it an unforgettable celebration! 🥃 In 2022, KOVAL Distillery participated in Food Export's Branded Program to gain brand awareness in Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. The Illinois supplier used its allocated funds to attend foreign trade shows, complete in-store sampling events, make packaging/labeling modifications, and advertise via social media, in magazines, and on television. These activities helped the Chicago, Illinois-based supplier gain sizable sales in Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, South Korea, and Taiwan. KOVAL also gained new foreign buyer contacts and established new distributorships. KOVAL Distillery is committed to the craftsmanship of creating delightful whiskey, gin, vodka, and liqueurs. Their commitment to excellence is evident in their distillation process, where only the finest distillate is derived through the notable "heart cut" technique. Throughout the distillation journey, the liquor undergoes three distinct phases, known as cuts: the head cut, heart cut, and tail cut. Amongst these cuts, the heart cut exhibits an unmatched aroma and flavor profile and is the only cut KOVAL uses. Embracing the core belief that remarkable spirits can only be crafted from favorable ingredients, KOVAL uses a grain-to-bottle approach for its entire product line. Every step of the production process is carefully supervised to ensure that every batch embodies exceptional quality. #WorldWhiskeyDay #whiskey #foodexport #export #successstory

Looking For Japanese Connections! Press Release: Boulder Spirits and a select few distillers, brewers and beverage producers from Colorado will represent the Colorado Department of Agriculture on an outbound trade mission to Japan from Aug 4-9. The focus will be connecting with importers, buyers, and wholesalers to introduce and promote the exceptional distilled spirits and beverage products being made in Colorado. They will be joined by their counterparts from the State of Montana. This opportunity of global attention is “exciting for the brand” notes Blender and Head of Marketing, Ryan Negley. “This truly is a once in a lifetime chance that we hope to turn into an ongoing series of visits to a new market.” Boulder Spirits doesn’t have an importer or representation in Japan, yet. But this trip will allow face to face meetings with the proper individuals and companies to change that. Japan has a population exceeding 123 million and the fourth-largest GDP, and is the fourth-largest export market for U.S. food and agricultural products as of 2022. In 2023, Japan imported $123m USD of American spirits, most of which was whiskey. “American whiskey’s reputation is rising around the world.” Negley proudly states. “We’re going to humbly, and proudly share these top-tier whiskeys with new Japanese friends.” Happen to know an importer or top-level whiskey journalist and/or influencer? Send them our way! Import inquiries can be made to Alastair@vapordistillery.com.
