“Wings Grounded: 3600+ Flyers Hold Tickets, But Skies Remain Silent” 🌍✈️ #AirIndia #FlightsCancellation In the aviation sector, the cancellation of 3600+ flights due to a tussle between airline management and cabin staff has left passengers in limbo. While using “sick leave” as a protest raises questions, it’s essential for all parties involved to ensure minimal impact on families, patients, and travelers. While crew members have rights, this situation raises concerns about passenger well-being. Shouldn't all parties in aviation work together to minimize disruptions for travelers? it is imperative that aviation associations prioritize the perspective of travelers and take decisive action to ensure that strikes under the guise of sick leave are not exploited as a bargaining tool. The well-being and convenience of passengers must be paramount #DGCA #AIXEU #Ministry of Civil Aviation #iFlyStaff #AAI #FIP #ICPA #ALPA #IFALPA #Air India Cabin Crew Association

When I see this, it’s a failure of the system to let such an amazing airline die. Digging recent history since 1995, around 300+ small to large Indian local air carriers have came up with great hope however had to ultimately bite the dust like Jet Airways, King Fisher, Air Deccan, Air Sahara, all the way up to Go First in 2023. We need to see where the actual solution is hidden instead of putting the blame for failure. Few things to consider- 1. An airline is not a business in itself, it coexists with marketing, finance, banking, insurance, credit system and more. 2. Operating OGS with rigid rules and regulations adopted by the nation needs some attention. 3. A general awareness about aviation industry needs to be spread across the country. 4. To do any business we need two types of people, the one who could invest and the other who could work on executing the daily flight operations. Strong need to setup training systems to facilitate smooth flow of work force. At SIAD we are committed to bringing solutions in aviation industry in Flight Training, Flight Operations, Airline reservation, Baggage Handling, Airport Management, Aircraft Handling and Logistics. Stay tuned.

BREAKING NEWS DGCA comes down hard on airlines and cracks the whip - Advises them to provide drinking water if flight delayed by 2 hours. Seriously? We are from the land of Atithi Devo Bhava or a guest is akin to God. Isn't that what the airlines call their passengers - guests. Couple of inferences here ➡️ 1. It is just an advice by DGCA and airlines may or may not comply ➡️ 2. The airlines are not providing even drinking water to its passengers or else why this advisory? ➡️ Lack of drinking water facilities other than paid (extremely expensive) water bottles at the airport is acknowledged. Is the day far off when there will be an environment fee for the air we breathe - which of course will be waived off in case of flight delay. #airlines #india #ailinepassengers #airports #airportfacilities #flightdelays #dgca #moca #pilots

The Indian aviation regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), is looking to permanently take away the domestic airport slots and international flying rights of the troubled Go First, signaling that the airline may not be able to take off again. In India, airlines can claim a right to an airport slot if they comply with the annual slot adherence norms, which means they run at least 80 percent of the departures committed to the regulator. In this context, Yaruqh Khan & Thyagarajan Narendran from moneycontrol.com have co-authored an article on “𝗚𝗼 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗷𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁” with expert comments from our Senior Counsel Mukesh Chand. #Ryanair has "threatened" a 50% cut in capacity in #France and not to operate on 10 #regionalairports, a "threat" that will certainly not make an impression on the #French, it will most likely be a new failure of Ryanair's "#subsidy and #arrogance" policy. #Europe is changing, many states and airports are no longer willing to accept the ultimatums or "orders" of #MichaelOLeary's LCC carrier, so I once again invite Ryanair to "rethink itself", we are fed up with its ways. But aren't subsidies the only problem in France, could Volotea or other carriers take over? On one thing, however, he is right... Let's delve deeper into the topic here: https://lnkd.in/dE2_c35K Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline #aviation #wetravelnews WEtravel NEWS #wetravelaviation WEtravel AVIATION
