Wet Hulled Process Wet hulled process To start the wet hull process, a depulping machine removes the coffee seeds. A little mucilage is left on the outside of the seed to keep them moisturized, and then they're stored in a plastic tank. During this time, the mucilage creates a thick husk around the seed. When the farmers take the seeds out of the tank, they remove the husk and parchment from the seeds in a process called hulling. Then, the beans are laid out to dry in the sun. This type of processing is most common in Indonesia where a humid climate can make drying difficult. History: The history of date syrup dates back to north Africa and moddle east, where this product is produced as a traditional and popular food item in provinces such as Bushehr and Hormozgan. In these regions, date syrup has been used as an important source of energy and nutrition in ancient times and has played a role in many religious and cultural ceremonies. This product is recognized not only in Iran but also in other Middle Eastern countries as a valuable food item. Production Process: Selecting Dates: To produce date syrup, ripe and high-quality dates are first selected. Various types of dates, including Mazafti and Zahedi, are commonly used for this purpose. Washing and Preparation: The dates are carefully washed to remove any dirt or dust. Juice Extraction: The dates are crushed either manually or with special machines to extract their juice. This juice is then heated to increase its concentration. Filtering: The heated juice is filtered to remove impurities and excess materials. Packaging: Finally, the date syrup is packaged in suitable containers and prepared for market distribution. Conclusion: Date syrup is not only a delicious food item but also reflects the art and traditional skills that have been preserved throughout history. Quality : This month regarding the raw material samples taken from purchase department, the result of toxin and black mold is around 15-18% for now. It can be higher from now. These rates caused serious refunds in sales of whole fig products in European exports. 3) 💵 The interest rate cut decision in Turkiye will have an impact on the real market at the beginning of the second quarter of 2025. We predict that the best time to take a long position in Fig Paste imports is at the end of the January 2025. Did you know it takes up to 7 years to produce a bottle of Kahlua? There is 5 main stages in this process which is growing, harvesting, drying and resting, distilling and last of all roasting and blending. Growing – it takes roughly up to 6 years to grow coffee cherries and this is simply because they are grown in the shade rather than in the sun. Harvesting - once the dark red cherries are ready they are ripped apart to get the coffee bean out. Drying & Resting - once harvested the coffee beans are then put in huge burlap bags for about 6 months. Distilling - The rum in Kahlua is made from sugarcane, so this involves, extraction, boiling then mixing with water. Once they have the alcohol it’s time for distillation. Roasting and Blending - This is when the rum finally meets the beans, they rest together for 4 weeks then they are bottled and sealed.
