Spoiler alert: This isn’t a 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 story. It’s about stepping out of my comfort zone. As I'm in my final year of my college journey at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Delhi, I can’t help but reflect on how far I’ve come.  💡 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲: - The shy kid who avoided the stage, clubs, and even group discussions.  - No extracurriculars, no societies, and certainly no bold dreams.  - (Still bad at studies though... haha! 😅)  💥 But College Changed Everything: 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 1: - Joined 3 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, with IEEE NSUT and IEEE Delhi Section Student Network Section being pivotal.  - Learned confidence, communication, and teamwork.  - From avoiding the spotlight to thriving in it.  𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 2: - Co-founded Quickgick with my classmates. Jadhav Durgesh Binit Gupta - Secured incubation at NSUT Incubation and Innovation Foundation making our idea more than just a dream.  - Ventured into real-world challenges and embraced the hustle.  𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 3: - Juggled 3 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 and part-time 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 while learning on the go.  - Explored my passion for 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and social media strategies.  🎓 Now, as I approach graduation: I’m incredibly grateful for the exposure, the failures, and the wins that shaped me. NSUT wasn’t just a college for me; it was my 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗽𝗮𝗱 into a world of possibilities.  

In my years at IIT, I've noticed a trend among some BTech graduates: A gap between expectation and reality. Graduating from this esteemed institute equips you with exceptional skills, but it's vital to remember that the world outside academia functions differently. Industry demands are practical. They focus on solving real-world problems, often with constraints and unexpected challenges. While theoretical knowledge is essential, the ability to adapt, collaborate, and think creatively is equally important. My advice for our graduating class: 📍 Industry best practices are constantly evolving. 📍 Embrace lifelong learning and be prepared to adapt your skillset. 📍 A strong foundation in core engineering principles will serve you well throughout your career. 📍 The ability to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely is invaluable. 📍  Internships or research projects provide valuable exposure to real-world engineering. What most of the students forget is that an IIT degree is a stepping stone, not a guarantee.
