Dangerzone is a tool that protects users from malicious or hidden code that may be included in documents like PDFs, images, or Microsoft Word files. In December 2023, Open Technology Fund’s Security Lab partner Include Security, conducted a security audit of the tool to ensure it’s as safe as possible for users.
