The MLB Asian ERG hosted its second annual Diwali event, which brought together members of the South Asian community throughout the sports industry. This vibrant celebration included a variety of cultural reflections seen in the decorations, entertainment, food, and attire on display. The MLB Asian ERG celebrated the achievements of the South Asian community as its presence continued to grow in baseball – especially with this year’s debut of MLB’s first player of Indian descent, Kumar Rocker.
