#YouthforSDGs #youthforagenda2030 #youthforagenda2063 I'm thrilled to be part of the workshop series the Africa SDGs Mentorship Programme impactful-educative training. My reflections are the 7 Aspirations of Agenda 2063: Africa's development blueprint to achieve inclusive and sustainable socio-economic development. The Africa We Want as young people we need to be part of the decision-making and participate effectively on the key Flagship Programmes which can boost Africa's economic growth and development that lead to the rapid transformation of the continent. Agenda 2063 seeks to deliver on a set of Seven Aspirations each with its own set of goals which if achieved will move Africa closer to achieving its vision for the year 2063. These 7 Aspirations reflect the desire for shared prosperity and well-being, for unity and integration, for a continent of free citizens and expanded horizons, where the full potential of women and youth are realised, and with freedom from fear, disease and want. As African youth we believe that together, we can make significant strides towards sustainable development across the continent.

DAY SIX Embracing the African Dream: Empowering Youths for a Brighter Future through the SDGs As the future of Africa, our youths hold the key to unlocking the continent's full potential. It's time for us to take ownership of our destiny and become the frontiers of change. In other to shape the future of Africa it's crucial that youth should dive into achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which include but not limited to: 1. Educate and upskill ourselves (SDG 4) 2. Foster innovation and entrepreneurship (SDG 9) 3. Promote sustainable agriculture and food security (SDG 2) 4. Drive economic growth and decent work (SDG 8) 5. Address climate action and environmental sustainability (SDG 13) As an advocate of SDGs, my future plans for the nation and continent include: 1. Establishing a youth-led innovation hub to drive technological advancements 2. Launching a sustainable agriculture initiative to enhance food security 3. Reflecting on this session by Nankpak Cirfat, it was really insightful. THE AFRICA WE WANT!! SDGs is an offshoot of millennium development goals(MDG).Let us choose a goal and make sure to make positive impact in our communities. The 7 AU Agenda 2063 is the Africa we want, and there is need for all to contribute. To achieve this, it is important we localize our solutions so as to meet local needs, also improve it to meet global needs. Let us also ensure our strategies align with the agenda 2063. Building a skilled generation: the importance of youth skills development in South Africa Empowering South Africa's youth with essential skills is crucial for driving economic growth, reducing unemployment and fostering innovation in an ever-evolving global landscape.

I am proud to shared knowledge learnt from the Africa SDGs Mentorship Programme last 2 weeks; #Workshop Series 2 7 Aspirations of Agenda 2063 of Africa Union 20 Goals - 1. A prosperous Africa based on inclusive growth and sustainable development. 2. An integrated continent, politically united and based on the ideals of Pan-Africanism and the vision of Africa's Renaissance. 3. An Africa of good governance, democracy, respect for human rights, justice and the rule of law 4. A peaceful and secure Africa. 5. An Africa with a strong cultural identity, common heritage, shared values and ethics 6. An Africa whose development is people-driven, relying on the potential of African people,especially its women and youth, and caring for children. 7.
