🕉️ On the 7th day of my 30-day journey into the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, we encounter a verse that speaks volumes about the power of influence and leadership. 📖 Day 7 of 30 days challenge यद्यदाचरति श्रेष्ठस्तत्तदेवेतरो जन:। स यत्प्रमाणं कुरुते लोकस्तदनुवर्तते॥ "Whatever action a great man performs, common men follow. Great individuals, through their actions and conduct, set the standard for others to emulate. Their exemplary behavior not only inspires but also guides the masses towards righteousness and positive transformation. As we reflect on this timeless wisdom, let's strive to embody the qualities of leadership and integrity in our own lives. Let's be mindful of the impact our actions have on those around us and aspire to be beacons of inspiration and positive change. 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐢 🙏🏻 𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓹 𝓲𝓼 𝓯𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭 𝓲𝓷 𝔀𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓶𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼 𝓶𝓸𝓼𝓽. 𝓗𝓮𝓻𝓮’𝓼 𝓱𝓸𝔀! When Sage Narada brings a magical mango that grants wisdom, Ganesha and his brother Kartikeya both want it. Their father, Lord Shiva, proposes a race: whoever circles the world three times first will win. 🌍 Kartikeya swiftly flies off on his peacock, eager to complete the race. But Ganesha, knowing he can’t outrun his brother, takes a different approach. He walks around his parents, declaring they are his entire world. His wisdom wins him the prize. 🍋✨ Leadership Lessons: • Think Creatively: Ganesha’s win wasn’t about speed but smart thinking. Leaders look beyond the obvious. 💡 • Value What Matters: Instead of chasing the world, Ganesha focused on what truly mattered—family and wisdom. 👨👩👦 • Play to Your Strengths: He knew his strengths and used them, proving that leadership is about understanding when to act and when to reflect. 🧠 Leadership isn’t about being the fastest—it’s about being the wisest. Lead with strategy, not speed. 🚀 #Leadership #Strategy #CreativeThinking #Wisdom #Innovation #LeadershipLessons #ThinkSmart #GaneshaWisdom #LeadershipStory #LeadWithHeart

"Leading with Gandhi’s Compassion in Today’s Competitive World" In today’s competitive world, we often face the problem of over-competitiveness—whether in our careers or daily lives. Many feel that winning means others must lose, leading to unnecessary friction and stress. But Mahatma Gandhi showed us that leadership doesn’t come from defeating others; it comes from lifting others up. True success is achieved when everyone grows together. How do you handle situations where competition becomes unhealthy? This Gandhi Jayanti, let’s reflect on how we can support each other rather than always trying to outdo others. Share your thoughts on fostering a collaborative mindset, even in competitive environments. #GandhiJayanti #GandhiInspiration #CollaborativeLeadership #HealthyCompetition #BuildingBridges #CompassionInAction #Leadership

The Power of Passive Leadership: A Lesson from History In leadership, we often distinguish between Active and Passive styles. Active leaders are at the forefront, making decisions and taking direct action. However, passive leaders, though less visible, can be just as impactful—if not more so. Much like the difference between active and passive income (as *Rich Dad Poor Dad* illustrates), passive leadership doesn't rely on constant direct action but on subtle influence, communication, and the ability to listen and guide. Here are some examples of passive leadership throughout history: 🔹 Mahatma Gandhi: Gandhi’s approach to leadership through non-violence and passive resistance had a profound impact on India’s independence movement. He didn’t hold formal power for much of his life but inspired millions to follow his vision of freedom through peaceful protest. 🔹 Mother Teresa: Through humility and service, Mother Teresa led by example, inspiring global humanitarian efforts without formal authority. These leaders demonstrate that Passive leadership can create profound, lasting impacts. They didn’t always seek the limelight or wield formal power, yet their influence shaped the course of history. In a world that often values loud leadership, we shouldn’t underestimate the power of leading through listening, subtle influence, and quiet action. Sometimes, the greatest changes come from those who lead behind the scenes. #Leadership #PassiveLeadership #Influence #Change #History #Gandhi #MotherTeresa

During the Rajasuya Yagna, Yudhishthira, despite being a king, humbly chose Krishna as the guest of honor, recognizing his wisdom and righteousness over power or status. When Shishupala insulted Krishna publicly, Krishna remained calm, embodying true leadership by not reacting in anger. Only after giving Shishupala several chances did Krishna act decisively, restoring order. This story showcases grounded leadership — Yudhishthira’s humility in valuing virtue over status, and Krishna’s ability to stay composed, reflecting leadership rooted in wisdom and principles. This story exemplifies leadership that is both humble and grounded in wisdom. Yudhishthira’s choice to honor Krishna reflects his own deep understanding of leadership rooted in virtue, while Krishna’s calm response under pressure shows how authentic leaders remain grounded in their principles, no matter the circumstances. ( story from Indian Itihasa & Purana- Mahabharata) As a business coach, I’ve witnessed the transformative power of this hands-on leadership. It’s not just about technical know-how; it’s about connecting authentically with your team and elevating their potential. What’s your perspective on leadership grounded in experience? I'd love to hear your thoughts. #Leadership #GroundedLeadership #Mahabharata #WisdomInLeadership #Humility #Krishna #Yudhishthira #LeadershipPrinciples #ValuesBasedLeadership #AuthenticLeadership

Choice of words matters. Choice of words brings out our beliefs & intent, consciously or subconsciously, could be positive or could be Bias, Prejudice, Unaware, ignorance etc.. Especially at leadership levels it is important to weigh our words carefully. A Sr. CXO leader from a global consulting firm has the below to say:- * US & Europe( West) is growing rapidly AND there is a need to focus on education, policy making etc etc… * India is growing rapidly YET there is a need to focus on education etc etc… The use of AND & YET in the above similar statements, deliberate or otherwise has different meaning and context to it, shows the leaders clear bias. Leaders should be aware of these subtle nuances and the impact of their words and actions. Choose your words wisely if you have to be respected, followed. That’s a Leaders only Legacy. #leadership #leaders #bias #chooseyourwords #india #respect #values #legacy

Are you ready to lead like a lion? The term 'fanatic' often carries a negative connotation, yet it is the intense zeal and dedication of fanatics that drive the most influential leaders to achieve the seemingly impossible. Fanaticism is crucial in both business and life. Many of history's transformative figures, from the Wright brothers' relentless pursuit of flight, to Mother Teresa's unwavering commitment to the destitute of Calcutta, were driven by a fanatical focus on their missions. To achieve groundbreaking success, whether in innovation, financial goals, or social change, we must channel our inner fanaticism. Leading like a lion means embracing a fervent drive to pursue our goals. This intensity is not madness; it's essential for leadership. Be the fanatic whose vision reaches beyond the horizon, dreaming dreams big enough to be deemed impossible—until they become reality. #Leadership #Innovation #Persistence #BusinessSuccess #SocialChange #Motivation #ProfessionalGrowth
