Excellence is shown in every single step you go through and as a result, it will make the perfection you seek indeed.
"My motto is ‘Excellence is in the next five minutes.’ It could be the next phone call, the next email or the next task. Excellence is not in the future; it is in the now. Sweat the small stuff, as in, the details.", stated Timur Sentuerk, Chief operating officer, Middle East & Africa of Kempinski Hotels and Member of the Management Board. https://lnkd.in/dcRm9JWR #Inspiration #LeadershipQuotes #GrowthMindset #HospitalityLeadership #KempinskiHotels

Always happy to learn from participants when we deliver a training. Selim Uysal continues the reflection post training and asks a crucial question here: “What is your organization’s vision, and how do you reflect it in your daily tasks?” This is your reminder to always check for alignment between the “why” of your organization and the “how”.

Do you know your organization’s vision, mission, and values? More importantly, do you know how to make them an integral part of your daily practices? Last week, I had the privilege of attending a Governance training in Amman, Jordan, with the Humanitarian Leadership Academy led by Estelle Lewi and Yassin M. from the Humane Consultancy. During the session, I shared a video that resonated with the participants and sparked some great discussions on how to live and breathe organizational goals every day. The video, which I’m sharing here, highlights the power of commitment to a common goal—something the participants found incredibly useful. Special thanks to Tuğçe UÇAK from FranklinCovey Türkiye for sharing this insightful video. One question for you to comment below; What is your organization’s vision, and how do you reflect it in your daily tasks? I’d love to hear your thoughts. --- If you found this post useful, feel free to repost it in your network. Don’t forget to follow my profile and subscribe to my newsletter to stay updated!

I happened to listen to Naveen Manga's (CTO of Marriott) leadership advise few years back in a leadership development program. He is an inspirational leader with clarity on how to leverage technology to enable business. Today morning, I came across this interview, where he nicely summarized how he is transforming the hospitality industry with the power of technology and fostering culture of Innovation. Few thoughts which resonated with me based on his interview. Most systems in the past were built with "built to last" mind set and a customer journey in mind. But the question is... a) Do these systems have a last when technology is changing so fast? and b) How do we know that all our customers expect their journey to be the same? What if we give the power of choice to customers so that customers can carveout their own journey in a unique and personal way? Isn’t that more personal than walking them through an experience we design for them? & To do that we need the mind set of "built to change", which needs a strong digital core & Innovation DNA. I hope some of you find this interesting too.
