Sometimes, life throws you a curveball even when you've done everything right. Vinesh Phogat's journey at the Paris 2024 Olympics is a story that hits hard. She fought her way to the finals, overcoming incredible odds, only to be disqualified for being just 100 grams over the weight limit. Imagine giving everything you’ve got, only to miss out by the smallest margin. It’s heartbreaking. But here's the thing: Life doesn’t always go as planned, no matter how hard we work. And that’s okay. Sometimes, the universe has a different path for us. Vinesh might not have walked away with the gold, but what she did leave with is something far more valuable—an example of resilience, grit, and the courage to keep fighting, even when the odds are against you. We all face moments like this—when success feels just within reach, but something beyond our control gets in the way. In those moments, remember that it’s not about the final outcome, but the strength you showed in getting there. Let’s celebrate the journey, embrace the setbacks, and keep pushing forward. After all, it’s these experiences that truly shape us. #KeepGoing #VineshPhogat #Inspiration #LifeLessons

🏅 The Difference 100 Grams Can Make: Lessons from Vinesh Phogat’s Olympic Journey We often hear that "success lies in the details," but Vinesh Phogat’s recent experience at the Olympics brings this lesson to life in a powerful way. Missing out on a medal because of a 100-gram difference is a stark reminder of how the smallest things can have the biggest impact. As we push forward in our careers, especially in the early stages, it's easy to focus on the big picture—landing that dream job, closing a major deal, or hitting quarterly targets. But let’s not forget that sometimes, it's the tiny details that can tip the scales between success and a missed opportunity. Whether it's double-checking an email, spending that extra five minutes refining a presentation, or ensuring you're well-prepared for a meeting—attention to detail is what separates the good from the great. Let’s take a pledge from Vinesh's journey and remember: even the small stuff matters. Stay sharp, stay focused, and make every gram count in your professional journey. #CareerAdvice #AttentionToDetail #ProfessionalGrowth #LearningFromSports #strategiadvizo

I was on the edge of my seat yesterday, watching Vinesh Phogat's match, and she absolutely killed it with her performance! Her skill, determination, and passion left me in awe. And then, to hear the devastating news of her disqualification from the Paris Olympics due to being overweight... it's just heartbreaking. We've all heard the saying, 'pride comes before a fall.' But what happens when you're at the pinnacle of success, and one unexpected moment brings your entire journey crashing down? Vinesh's shocking disqualification is a stark reminder that even the most dedicated and hardworking individuals can fall victim to unforeseen circumstances. In an instant, years of blood, sweat, and tears can be reduced to nothing. The road to glory, once paved with promise and potential, can be brought to zero in a second. A single unforeseen twist of fate can shatter dreams and aspirations, undo years of progress and achievement & leave even the strongest among us feeling lost and defeated. But here's the thing: it's not the falling that defines us, it's how we rise again. I know it's difficult, very difficult but will we let that one moment dictate our entire journey, or will we use it as a stepping stone to come back stronger? The road to glory is never linear, and sometimes, it's the unexpected detours that lead us to our true destination. Let Vinesh's story be a reminder to stay humble, stay resilient, and always be prepared for life's unexpected twists and turns. #VineshPhogat #ParisOlympics #RoadToGlory #Resilience #Perseverance #Humility #LifeLessons #Inspiration #Motivation #NeverGiveUp #RiseAgain #Glory #Success #Failure #LearnFromMistakes #MoveForward #StayStrong"

One of the things I love most about the Olympics is the real human stories that come out and make us shed a tear or two. Last Friday, the Paris Summer Olympics kicked off. For 19 days, the world will be captivated by athletes competing for gold. It's where records will be broken, tears and sweat will flow, and dreams will become a reality. While many nations perpetuate the myth of superhuman athletes, Team Canada is taking a refreshing approach: showcasing the human side of sports. The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and CBC/Radio-Canada's, "Brave is Unbeatable" campaign offers a raw and inspiring look into the lives of nine athletes, including Andre De Grasse, Ellie Black, and Maude Charron. By sharing their struggles, setbacks, and ultimate victories, the campaign reveals the incredible grit and determination required to reach the Olympic stage. The campaign is narrated in English by actor, author and philantrophist Michael J. Fox, whose own battle with Parkinson's disease is a testament to human resilience; and in French, by iconic Celine Dion who in 2022 revealed her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome. These powerful narratives remind us that even the greatest face challenges. The Olympics may be rooted in ancient mythology, but its real-life heroes inspire us. This campaign is a masterclass in storytelling, igniting our passion and determination to reach for greatness. #Olympics #Paris2024 #TeamCanada #BraveIsUnbeatable #Storytelling #Inspiration #HumanSpirit https://lnkd.in/gNFusVUs

Did you watch the 100m final yesterday during the Olympics??? (Whether you did or did not, this message will still apply to you) Yesterday, Noah Lyles, known for being unapologetically overconfident, outspoken, and cocky, leaned into a VERY narrow gold medal finish. And the hate was REAL! If you go to his IG page, or really, any article that has posted about his win, you will see tons of comments that show their utmost disdain for him: "Someone needs to humble him..." "Someone needs to put him in his place..." "He barely even won..." You see, Noah is a strong advocate for speaking things into existence, so he's been calling himself the fastest man in the world way before getting the title. When someone would mention that another competitor was more favored to win, Noah would reply that he just hadn't beat them YET. Cocky? Absolutely. And it rubbed people the wrong way because they felt he wasn't respecting the other competitors. I see it differently. What Noah was doing was telling his mind what it needed to hear to make his vision a reality. There was no room for doubt or second-guessing. He had to unquestionably believe he was the best so he would be able to put in all the work necessary to make it so. And he kept doing that until he achieved the goal. My question to you is, what if you showed up unapologetically as you are and fully showed up for your goal? What if you stopped saying you are going to TRY to do something and just actually DO IT. You wanna TRY to lose 20lbs... You wanna TRY to eat good this week... You wanna TRY to start your business... You wanna TRY to leave your job... Don't try. DO IT. Stop leaving room for yourself to fall off. Keep doing the work until the goal is DONE. Because the goal isn't to try. The goal is to DO IT. No, sometimes you can't control the timeline And, yes, sometimes you want to give up. Don't give up. Be consistent. And keep pursuing your goal until you DO IT. #diggdeep
