“Only live events make sales.” Agree or disagree? I get why this belief is out there. You get more grace when you show up live—it’s easier for people to connect with you and trust you (...assuming you’re trustworthy.) I’ve definitely hired people after a live event (business coach, spirit medium.) AND I’ve bought from well-written emails (business coach), a lead magnet pdf (Human Design coach), a YouTube search (animal communication teacher), and a Google search (culinary teacher.) How about you? What services have you bought without a live event? If you’re thinking live is the ONLY way you can capture someone’s attention, it can be really defeating. Enough to have you (understandably) dragging your feet about getting out there at all. (I don’t know about you, but I wasn’t built to be in front of a live audience every week!) I say, let your next high-value freebie be something your people can enjoy while you nap. 📊In fact, in a recent survey I did, downloadable template won over live session as the MOST PREFERRED OPT-IN FORMAT to receive. Trust that you will attract the right people without being there live, because many, many other business owners have done the same—and you are just as capable.

That is so true! I have been caught up in that belief, but then noticed myself absolutely loving the pre-recorded course I purchased from an ad that I can listen to any time and for any length of time. My introverted self sometimes thinks *live* is the only way 😕 🙂
