🌟 Big News! 🌟 We’re beyond excited to share that MangaChat has been shortlisted as one of the Top 10 finalists for the Singularity + Sync Global Impact Challenge in Digital Wellness! 🎉🌍 The mission of Singularity University (SU) is nothing short of bold: to empower leaders to harness exponential technologies to tackle humanity’s grandest challenges and create positive impact at a global scale. Partnering with Sync, this year’s Global Impact Challenge focuses on Digital Wellness — seeking solutions that leverage technology to foster mental health and well-being in our increasingly digital world. The competition was fierce, with entries from all over the globe, and we are honored to be selected among the top teams. MangaChat is our AI-driven emotional journaling platform designed to help children communicate their emotions through creative storytelling. In a world where children are growing up immersed in technology, we believe it’s critical to ensure that digital tools support their emotional development, rather than detract from it. MangaChat provides a safe, engaging way for children and their families to explore emotions, helping them build resilience and emotional intelligence. We’ve come this far, in large part, due to the traction we gained in Singapore and the invaluable support we received from the Technology for Sustainable Social Impact (TS2) Accelerator at NUS Enterprise. We are so grateful for this opportunity to represent our solution at the Singularity University pitch event this November in California. At MangaChat, our vision is clear: we want to create a world where every child can express their emotions freely, using technology that is built with their mental well-being in mind. We believe that by empowering children today, we are shaping a healthier, more resilient generation tomorrow. We invite our community to support this journey — share this milestone, connect us with like-minded individuals, or simply follow along as we continue to make strides in digital wellness. Let’s work together to make the digital world a place of emotional growth and safety for the next generation! 🙏💡 #DigitalWellness #GlobalImpact #SingularityUniversity #Sync #Innovation #Entrepreneurship #ExponentialTech #TechForGood #MangaChat #MentalHealth #Children #Leadership #Growth

Lisa Edgar from The Big Window made a powerful observation in a Forbes article (https://lnkd.in/gN2S7pDp).), highlighting a key shift in the psychology of life after 50: "There is less social strain and distress, fewer peer comparisons with others and more emotional stability. Goals become more emotional and less focused on acquisition. Brands need to recognize that they are responding to a very different set of consumer priorities." This means you're dealing with people who have a clear understanding of what they want—and what they don’t want. They make decisions based on personal desire rather than social pressure (much less keeping up with the Jones's), have disposable income, and are keen to spend it wisely. This cohort is not just financially capable but also eager to engage and invite you into their world. The question is; are you ready to tackle the needs and seize the opportunities presented by this dynamic and influential group? Come talk to us at #TheStellaCollective, we can help you on your journey to connect, create and innovate with and for people 45+. #lifeafter45 #spendingafter45 #blindspotnomore

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞. We are what we repeatedly do. 💯 All our outcomes in life - postive and negative - are inextricably tied to our habits and lifestyle. What you say you want is like an address. Your habits and lifestyle is the vehicle that takes you to that address. If you want to go to Australia and you board a plane going to New York, no amount of positive thinking can make you land in Australia. You will most likely arrive wherever the vehicle you have boarded is headed. Set those goals. But most importantly, align your habits to help you achieve them. If you want to get that degree, allotting ample study time in your day is a way to get there. Study daily for 21 days and you have created a new habit of studying. Do this for 90 days and you are on your way to becoming a stellar student. The results will speak for themselves. Breaking a bad habit follows the same rule. Stop doing it for prolonged period and the habit atrophies and eventually dies out. Whatever we give our attention, grows. Whatever we starve our attention, dies. 𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐨. 🙏🏽❤️ Follow Mindhelpa (Techstars ‘24) www.mindhelpa.com #Mindhelpa #mentalhealth #onlinetherapy #grouptherapy #wellbeing #community #digitalhealth #healthtech #startup

This is such an interesting concept. I'm curious to learn more about how they plan to integrate medical science with the luxury experience. Will these be primarily focused on preventative care, or will they also offer treatment options? #healthinnovation #luxurywellness #futureofhealthcare

I'm very bullish on healthcare. Like, all the way turned up. When two giants like Tony Robbins and Sam Nazarian partner, you know its serious. ↳ Their venture is focused on health, longevity clubs and hotels. ----------------- The concept will focus on integrating medical science and luxury, making top-tier wellness accessible in desirable locations like St. Kitts, the UK, and Switzerland. ↳Both Nazarian and Robbins aim to tap into the $5.6 trillion global wellness economy, Their vision involves expanding to 15 hotels and 10 longevity centres by 2030. ↳As someone who is very bullish on the health and wellness space, I see this as a timely and necessary development. This is worth paying attention to. Why? Because people are prioritising their health more than ever before. Just look at the trend from other health-focused companies like Neko Health from Spotify’s founder. This wave isn’t just a passing fad; it's the future. What’s the point of having a successful career or building wealth if you don’t have the health to enjoy it? Now more than ever, people want to invest in their well-being. ↳ Physical, mental, emotional — and this venture is a clear sign of how important it is to make that investment accessible. ----------------- Key takeaway: Health is the foundation for everything. You can't enjoy success, wealth, or even relationships if you're not at your best physically and mentally. This new venture brings that conversation to the forefront, and I couldn’t be more excited about the positive changes it will bring. What do you think about this? ----------------- ♻ Share this to help others learn about this new venture. 📌 I'm Dhruvin Patel, I write about performing your best at work & entrepreneurship

We are happy to share with you that our Center Director Prof. Winnie Qian PENG's latest case study "Happiness Capital: A Hundred-Year-Old Family Business’s Quest to Create Happiness" is officially released and listed on Harvard Business Publishing (HBP): https://lnkd.in/ghHrKAtN Prof. Peng was honored to announce the case release at the happiness forum organized by Happiness Capital a week ago in Bhutan, which is often called the happiest country on Earth. Happiness Capital is a global venture capital firm within the hundred-year-old Lee Kum Kee Group with a mission to bring happiness to the community and the world through venture investments. As the founding Lee family progressed into the fifth generation, it wanted to diversify into a business that would also benefit the society, and impact investing emerged as an answer as it was a cause that resonated across different generations of the family. Happiness Capital undertook the pioneering initiative to co-create the "Happiness Return Framework" together with industry experts, addressing the issue of impact measurements often encountered in impact investing. The case examines how Happiness Capital defines and measures happiness with its proprietary "Happiness Return Framework," as well as examining its investment strategies, process, performance, risk management, organization and governance. Impact investing of families or family offices is one of the top research interests of Prof. Peng, who’s currently writing a few Asian case studies on this topic. This case is among many other HKUST cases that are listed on HBP. The Thompson Center for Business Case Studies at HKUST with the mission of "Asian Cases for the World" signed a case distribution agreement with HBP a few years ago to leverage on HBP's global distribution network. Up till 2024Q2, Nearly 120,000 HKUST case copies have been sought via HBP. Thanks @Kaiming Chiang, @Eric Ng, @Mark Chan, @Kam Fai Lo for your contribution to the case. @HKUST Family Business and Family Office Center, @Happiness Capital | Certified B Corp. #Asianfamilybusiness #Familyoffice #Impactinvesting #HKUSTRogerKingCenter, #HappinessCapital #Nextgenengagement #Professionalization

🌍 Our current systems cannot continue to serve us, the way that we have been accustomed to… Don't you agree with Tre' Cates? It's time to shift our focus. But what if there was a way to cultivate true, systemic, and long-term growth with health at the forefront? If you’re an organizational leader who is tired of the "exit fast" mentality and is looking to make a real, lasting impact, then this is your moment.
