Continuing off process from yesterday I have more updates on the Quake level. Starting area • Adjusted lighting on the moving platform to better fit in with the other lighting in the area. First Major encounter • Adjusted lighting at the start to highlight the area ahead Second Major encounter • Added ammo for nailgun to the left pathway to give more opportunity with the nailgun • Adjusted target for exit path to allow the melee weapon to activate it • Adjusted area with key  • Added a giant pillar in front of the door to the key to prevent it from being used as a way to bring enemies into an area that favors the player Third Major encounter • Massively overall to a more concrete idea of an imposing fortress entrance to set the tone of what lies ahead for the player • Allowed for more space for the player to walk around as the previous space felt too cramped • Scrag (flying enemy) is shown through a door that only opens when the player enters the room • Second enforcer moved up to have a better view of the player when entering the room There is a lot more I want to discuss about the third area, but I will do that tomorrow at a more convenient time after I come off work.
