It's my perspective but I strongly believe this. We worry about the excessive use of chemicals in fruits and vegetables, soil health, water crisis, global warming, and more. But where is this largely coming from? Farmers, right? Are the existing methods effective in changing the situation? We don't know! Just think about it. Yes, it's a hard and complex problem, but we have no choice but to work on it. With so many small and marginal farmers in India, the problem is even more complex and needs great minds to come together to solve it I have provided a link to an earlier publication about the issue. I request you do your research on updated data. https://lnkd.in/gZe3ASGd #marginalfarmers #Watercrisis #Globalwarming #Soilhealth

According to a study, over 1.5 million deaths a year are linked to air pollution from fires, with the majority of these lives lost in developing countries. 🔥 As wildfires become more frequent and intense due to climate change, this toll is expected to rise. From heart disease to respiratory issues, the impact is devastating, and it’s those in low-income countries who are suffering the most. It's a reminder of the climate injustice we face, where those contributing least to global warming are bearing the heaviest burden. Here is my take on how fitness and the environment are interlinked and how we can take measures to prevent such calamities from happening. What we eat has a tremendous impact on global warming & each and everyone of us would get to understand this if we see things from the perspective of a carbon footprint which anyhow is the new way of observing things. Make the right choice & Make it now!! #wayanad #nutrition #global_warming

The world is facing an escalating crisis of water scarcity, driven by global droughts and climate change. In many regions, especially in places like the USA, farmers are struggling to find enough water to irrigate their crops. Rising global temperatures contribute to faster evaporation rates, making water resources even more limited.

Terrifying Facts About Climate Change 🌍 1)Invisible Threat: Global temperatures have risen by 1.2°C since the 19th century, but we barely notice the small changes that are altering ecosystems. The Clock is Ticking: If we continue at this rate, sea levels could rise by up to 2 meters by 2100, displacing millions. 2)Air Quality Crisis: Pollution from fossil fuels kills over 8 million people annually, yet it goes unnoticed in our daily lives. 3)Food at Risk: 10% of the world’s agricultural land is becoming unusable due to desertification, threatening global food security. 4)Nature’s Alarms: The frequency of extreme weather events—wildfires, floods, and hurricanes—is increasing exponentially, but we still ignore the warnings. 🌳 Nature sustains us with life-giving water, clean air, and food. Yet, our actions are breaking this balance. It’s time to wake up, act responsibly, and restore harmony before it’s too late. #ClimateCrisis #NatureMatters #ActNow

#Global #warming 🌍🌾 As we continue to witness the effects of global warming on our planet, it's crucial to highlight its significant impacts on agricultural productivity. 🌱 Rising temperatures, changing precipitation patterns, and extreme weather events are disrupting agricultural systems worldwide. Farmers are facing challenges such as reduced crop yields, increased pests and diseases, and water scarcity. These challenges not only threaten food security but also impact livelihoods and economies dependent on agriculture. It's time for us to come together, raise awareness, and take action to mitigate the effects of global warming on agriculture. Sustainable practices, innovative technologies, and policy changes can help build resilience and adaptability in the face of these challenges. Let's work towards a future where agriculture can thrive in a changing climate, ensuring food security for generations to come. 🌿💪 #GlobalWarming #Agriculture #ClimateAction

Value your food; it’s a gift we can’t afford to waste Not only are we producing too much but we are wasting a great deal of food. It is estimated that the food that is lost and wasted could feed 1.26 billion hungry people every year. Meanwhile, world hunger affected about 9.2% of the world's population in 2022. Food & Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) published that the loss and waste of food cause between 8% and 10% of the gases responsible for global warming. #FoodWasteAwareness #StopFoodWaste #WasteNotWantNot #FoodForThought #SustainableEating #SaveFood #FoodLoss #ConsciousConsumption #ReduceFoodWaste #ActOnFoodWaste
