Tech stocks are facing challenges and uncertainty looms. Enter convertible bonds—those unsung heroes of financial markets bridging equities’ growth potential with the safety of fixed-income securities. 📉 Reflecting on the Dot.com Bubble Back in 2000, a narrow focus led by a few large-cap tech companies tip-toed us into overvaluation. The aftermath was a reminder that while some thrived, many lacked sustainable business models. An intelligent investor understands the importance of keeping tabs on the competition. Just because an investor chooses one company over its competitors doesn’t mean the competition will magically go away. Companies are always trying to attract new investors, so it should come as no surprise that their competitors are always finding new ways to prove that they are worth investing in. Strong companies today can easily be overtaken by their competition if they fail to constantly innovate and find ways to keep the competition at bay. So, as an investor, it’s your responsibility to monitor the competition just as closely as you monitor your own holdings. Who knows, perhaps one day you may find yourself investing in the competition because they offer more value. . . . #investing101 #investingtips #investingadvice #moneymanagement #valueinvesting #valueinvestor #growthinvesting #growthinvestor
