Just wrapped up Figma #Config2024! Awesome updates to the platform, Deep Dives showed us the ropes with the new features, inspiring talks, and so many cool things to do. Loved personalizing tote bags, snagging collectible charms, and designing virtual badges. The launch of UI3 is an intuitive evolution, and the integration of AI is a game-changer, making it faster than ever to get inspired and bring ideas to life. The seamless integration of tools I consistensily use in other apps and the automation of the mundane tasks is super exciting. The time saving in my day-to-day workflows means more efficiency and time to focus on what I love — creativity and innovation. Can’t wait to see how this transforms my design process!

So far today, during Figma's Config virtual event, I had the pleasure of witnessing two genuinely inspiring and informative presentations: Emily Sneddon and Taamy Amaize delivered a stunning presentation on how they “design futures so irresistible, they become inevitable.” Their showcase was a blend of creativity, inspiration, and innovation. I particularly appreciated their concluding key actions: 1. Reveal a new perception 2. Seek a parallel context 3. Embody new actions Kylor Hall’s presentation on “Adopting Foundations at Scale” was exceptionally informative and packed with strategic design system approaches and considerations. I've long admired Atlassian's Design System principles, and today’s session provided a deep dive into their strategic approach.
