MISSIONS MATTER: As organizations drift away from their Vision, MISSION, and Values, they risk losing relevance. Just like an airplane, even the slightest deviation can lead to significant off-course distances (e.g., Air New Zealand - flt. TE901 - 1979).
This principle applies universally, even to burger joints. Missions Matter - stay on track.

Little did I know that flying tankers would prepare me for motherhood…
I tease.
After all, I passed gas for a living. 😉✈️
But how do fighters and other aircraft cross the ocean and other long distances?
I flew my share of Coronets from the East Coast to Europe and Southeast Asia.
A Coronet mission involves a group of tankers flying with fighters across long distances, ensuring the fighters have enough fuel.
It requires detailed planning and coordination.
Unlike standard refueling, Coronet missions involve mobile refueling zones and precise timing to prevent mishaps.
Fighters must often refuel multiple times and may divert to predetermined bases if necessary.
Tanker crews may hand off fighters to other tankers or stop to refuel themselves (another tanker).
These missions are complex and crucial for maintaining operational readiness.
Think of it as an Air Bridge.
Question: did the engine room fire cause loss if power, with subsequent drift in high seas into the reef,?
We also have Cook Strait ferries losing power...
