Join us as we recognise #MedicalCannabisWeek by celebrating 5 years of T21! 🎉 Since 2019, T21 has made incredible strides in building the UK’s largest patient registry for medical cannabis. Data from over 4,500 patients has enhanced our clinical understanding of cannabis’ therapeutic benefits and led to numerous important research publications. This groundbreaking evidence base is instrumental in challenging outdated policies and advocating for medical cannabis’ rightful recognition as a treatment option. Importantly, T21 also provides individuals with affordable access to medical cannabis, breaking down financial barriers that often stand in the way of necessary treatments. T21 data shows significant improvements in the quality of life for many T21 patients, offering invaluable new pathways for those whose traditional treatments have failed. The last 5 years have demonstrated T21’s powerful role for policy, advocacy, and research efforts, and it is essential that it continues to raise awareness and acceptance of medical cannabis. When it comes to cannabis, legislation is slowly catching up with public opinion and medical science. But there’s still a lot of scepticism and stigma clouding the way. At the start of this month, medical cannabis became available through prescription across Germany. Weed.de asked us to create a brand that positioned them as the guide in this new world, bringing clarity to the confusion and spotlighting the ways in which cannabis is changing lives for the better. This was bigger than rebranding a business. In many ways we had to redefine the assumptions and stereotypes around a whole plant and category. Despite its often one-note reputation, there really is no universal cannabis 'experience'. Strains, THC levels, biological makeup all make a difference. The needs are different too – from cancer patients who use weed to stimulate appetite to people with endometriosis who rely on the plant for pain management.
