Hello All, another report for you addressing the link between #ESG media coverage, #CSI and the cost of #equity.   Over a 10 year period, this paper assesses the relationship between reputational risk and the cost of equity #capital using RepRisk data.   It identifies the effect of #corporate misconduct on the cost of equity for #ESG #risk and demonstrates that investors are more sensitive to social misconducts.   This paper is particularly interesting for practitioners and #policy makers since they operate in a space that drives effort towards reducing ESG related incidents.  In 2023, RepRisk identified 67 risk incidents in relation to 'Employee and Community Relations' (Social Pilar) in #Ireland, which could be having a negative effect on equity for the companies involved.   Check out the full report and speak to our great Academic Team about how this applies to your work.  https://lnkd.in/ec3sfqqC
