Last week, I had the pleasure to represent the EDERA Lab team at the Hello Tomorrow #deeptech Summit in Paris. 🇫🇷 It was an electrifying 48 hours brimming with groundbreaking ideas and insightful conversations with industry players - from startup founders to incubators, accelerators, investors and corporate powerhouses. 🌱A little over one year ago, we founded EDERA Lab on a mission to support the visibility of innovators disrupting their industries from within to drive positive change. 🎯 Our mission is to support the climate tech, agri-food tech, and deep tech start-ups, translating groundbreaking technologies into commercially viable products, driving real-world impact. 📣 Steven Jacobs from Lakestar perfectly captured the essence of deep tech: "Deep tech is a period in time: it is the moment when scientific discovery becomes a product." 💡 EDERA Lab's mission is simple: we help early-stage founders be visible where it matters. Our targeted communication expertise helps them build thought leadership with investors and corporate players, supporting their fundraising, partnerships and business development. 🚀 A huge thanks to the founders, incubators, and accelerators who took time out of their busy event schedules to share their visions and challenges. I look forward to seeing you again soon at the next deep tech event! "Business as usual is over": Under this headline, I had the pleasure of kicking off the IMPACT FESTIVAL in Frankfurt with my opening keynote. My key message: The time for business model reinvention is now! But why? Companies need to transform to avoid falling behind. These transformations go beyond creating a few new products or optimizing a few processes. They require a fundamental rethinking of all parts of their business. That's why I'm thrilled that PwC Deutschland is a strategic partner of this year's Impact Festival. Many technologies, products, and services needed for a better future have yet to be invented or scaled. That often requires entire value chains, from investors to corporates, alliance partners, startups, and back again. In other words: Growing parts of the world economy will become a startup fair for impact investing. That’s why the Impact Festival is the right place to be.

If you're attending Slush 2024, then you know why the name was chosen - it’s full of slushy snow outside. 🌧️❄️ Anyhow, there are 10 000 attendees here that seized the opportunity to try to connect with local and international investors, entrepreneurs and experts shaping the future and making an impact. Halfway into the amazing Slush gathering, here are the key take aways: 🎯 - more and more than ever before is the sectors of AI and Saas taking over, listening to speakers from top tier successful companies like Google, Slack, Open AI, Nvidia, AWS and an enormous amount of startups here within those fields = there really is a startup for every need 🌟 - impact a strong theme followed but hardtech and deeptech with lots of new investors looking for investable cases to scale 💥 - maintaining product-market-fit through decades is the hardest of challenges and to be able to grow ahead of your competitors. All the 600+ side events might not cover these take-aways, so help me out and fill in what you have seen? Heading now to the next investor mingle with successful Alliance VC & Altor Equity Partners at the American bar in Helsinki. GU Ventures GoWest - Nordic Venture Capital Forum FUHS - Föreningen Universitetsholdingbolag i Sverige SISP - Swedish Incubators & Science Parks
