Thank you so much PCMA Heartland Chapter for hosting me to speak at the E3 Conference earlier this week in #StLouis! Beyond the case study for how HERITAGE worked to activate PCMA's spaces at #CL24, there were some phenomenal questions that made me want to stay and keep talking! (sorry Brian Hall and Dave Duncan for cutting into your time😬) My Favorite Q&A: ⚫ Attendee: "What I love about Convening Leaders especially if seeing that floor...the ideas that are being generated...I wish that we as PCMA members could get under the hood [of working with exhibitors]... How do you make an exhibitor have an activation and pay for that?" ⚪Marc Ghafoori: "PCMA has an opportunity to do things that not many can do...I would say through coaching and leading by example, of what they can achieve by going above and beyond. That's where you can be successful....This process [started several years ago]. [Finding those] key partners and sponsors of PCMA Spaces who really understood what we were trying to do already.... they [already] wanted to go bigger and wanted to do more....It's about finding those partners who know what you can do together. And I would challenge you to do that at all levels, not just your biggest sponsor or exhibitor. Some of those folks [at the lowest tier] that are bringing in an idea or concept that really does something more than just a pop-up and you can only do that through conversations - that's the only way to do it."
