I think this is huge and frankly aligns perfectly with what we’re focusing on. I know there's been a lot of discussion around AI in compliance—and it certainly has its benefits—the real game-changer is building robust regulatory knowledge and then combining it with automated reasoning to determine the state of compliance and identify risks associated with specific products. That's how we can truly move compliance forward. 

Some of the best products available in the market today were simple internal tools that became too good to remain hidden. This is corporate innovation at play within the walls of Revolut. Listening to this reminds me of the true origins of the highly adpoted AWS which evolved from being just an internal solution to becoming the highest contributor to the Parent company's operating profit (Amazon). A Fortune publication from 2022 reported that for years, AWS has brought in more profit than all the other divisions of Amazon combined. (https://lnkd.in/d-xD_vAA) Revolut's future is looking bright. EXPERIENCE 💸 In the past few months, I’ve had the opportunity to use Revolut as an exchange student, and while it’s an incredible tool for managing international finances, I’ve encountered some challenges with the document validation process. 👩🏻💻As a Product Manager with extensive experience in digital products in Brazil, I understand the importance of an efficient automated process. However, when automation fails, as in the case of reading passports from different nationalities, it's crucial to have an alternative process in place. 💡I believe that an update to the document recognition system would be a significant improvement for Revolut, preventing customers from facing issues when trying to update their accounts. I understand how these processes work, and just because I became an exchange student doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten everything I know about the field. My suggestion: a manual review process, as an alternative to the automated one, could be a simple and effective solution to ensure all documents are properly validated. I hope Revolut considers this suggestion, and that other fintech companies also think about how to improve their user experience, especially when catering to a global and diverse audience. Happy nearly 7 month anniversary to me at Revolut!! 🍾 As I approach this non-milestone (I missed the 6 month mark, sorry), I wanted to share a few key learnings from working with one of the most disruptive fin-techs in the world. - Time Moves Differently at Revolut (hence I missed my 6 month anniversary) What typically takes two years in most big tech companies happens within 3-6 months here. 🤯 -Simplicity is Key - Revolut has the ability to simplify processes and bring you closer to customers with retail users or business. Whether it’s payments, managing expenses, or streamlining operations, Revolut can make that a reality for the largest of customers and complement existing relationships. I would like to say we are the cherry (and icing) on top. - Its a dynamic, multi-cultural team with people dotted all over the world. Even in a remote environment we develop strong relationships with teams. Meeting for events or customers. Roll on Q4, and I may dip in to share another 'non' milestone at some stage.
