It is heartening to see that the world of motorsport, one of the the most technically advanced sectors, places so much value on the knowledge and experience that 'oldies' can bring to the table. Perhaps those organisations that are struggling because they lack experience and knowledge should take a lead from the very demanding and competitive sport that is F1?

Sometimes I am being asked what we do once we improve a process, do we stop? Let me tell you what is happening in F1, the pinnacle of motorsports. During 2023 they improved the car and now they made an evolution of 23 car for 24. When arriving at the same track in Bahrain it can be easily seen by comparing lap time data that every team improved, some better than others. Last year poleposition time it would be 8th position this year. So much competitvness, excellence, always improving. Like they say, in F1 if you don’t improve you start going backwards!
