✈️ How many U.S. airlines do you think serve all 50 states? 🌎 Take a guess! You might think Hawaii or Alaska are the tricky ones, right? Well, not so much! Even Southwest flies to Hawaii these days. 🏝️ The real surprise? As of yesterday, only one airline serves all 50 U.S. states—and that’s American Airlines! 🇺🇸 But there’s a catch: it’s not entirely by air. American now offers an airside bus service to Delaware's Wilmington New Castle Airport from nearby Philadelphia. So technically, they cover all states, but no airline flies to all 50 just yet. ✈️ 🚌 By the way, Avelo Airlines is the only airline actually flying scheduled into Wilmington New Castle right now. Were you surprised by this? 🤔 And which other airlines do you know that serve every region of a country? Sure, Australia has fewer states—easy. But what about Canada? 🇨🇦 Let’s hear your thoughts! #Aviation #Airlines #US

Southwest S*cks & Scr*ws Customers, But Blue Skies Tampa Departure - IMRAN™ The shameful way Southwest Airlines $©®w€$ passengers where it has no major competitors turned me off from this airline I was loyal to for a quarter century. They literally gouge passengers going from Florida to Long Island, New York. If they charge $200 Tampa to expensive LaGuardia Airport NY, where Delta Air Lines offers great competing service, Southwest charges (for example) $350 to nearby Islip MacArthur Airport which is maybe just 10 extra nautical miles of flying — and has much lower landing costs. And you’re lucky if there’s one nonstop available without going through nightmare BWI airport. Why? Because there’s no actual Delta Airlines service to KISP Long Island for a decade or more. And Southwest, famous for flying danger Boeing 800 MAX planes, exploits people in such areas. From a frequent flier on Southwest Airlines for ~25 years, I’ve become someone who is only using it as a last resort to use up my 100,000 points. Beyond that, I consider it an airline that doesn’t “LUV” but sc*ws its passengers. This was a beautiful day to depart Tampa. The SWA flight cost about a quarter of my balance. Couple more “free” flights like this and I’ll be done. I will endeavor to never fly SWA with new purchased tickets again. © 2024 IMRAN™ #IMRAN #flying #Southwest #TPA #Tampa #airport #runway #aviation #aircraft #Boeing #CX #PriceGouging #SouthwestSucks

Here is all the evidence you need for those of us that have always preferred the early morning flights... "Flights that take off in the early evening are nearly three times as likely to be significantly delayed as those in the early morning." "If you want to minimize lateness, it’s more important to consider departure time than airline. It’s true that Spirit Airlines has had more long delays than Delta Air Lines over the last five years, but a flight on Spirit that departs at 6 a.m. is less likely to be significantly delayed than a flight on Delta that takes off in the evening."
