Association Executives and advocacy professionals often question the impact of celebrity endorsements. Recently, we delved into the effectiveness of Taylor Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris. Spoiler alert: it had no effect. Our analysis revealed that for endorsements to be impactful, a continuous relationship between the celebrity and the politician is crucial. The most effective scenario would involve them campaigning together. Our AI Polly suggests this would significantly benefit Harris but potentially alienate Swift's Trump-supporting fans.
