Are SLMs more accurate than LLMs?
Maybe not always, but apparently one is.
I didn't know (but feel I should have intuitively) that one of the ways AI engines are scored is accuracy.
And a new small language model from Mistral AI and Nvidia scores higher for accuracy than some well known LLMs.
Is it a matter of smaller is better or is the difference that makes the difference the fact that to keep SLMs small, it's necessary to be more choosy about what content is used to train them?
