For those who don't love food, this ad might seem like a bit much.. But for those who qualify as foodies, will love this ad for all its ASMR components. You can see the crunch, you can feel the crispiness! KFC India has been kind of unbeatable when it comes to fried chicken and someone like me would definitely wouldn't shy away from calling it 'Great' Now, this particular ad is clearly targeting Gen Z who doesn't compromise with what they consume, and they want everything they experience to be GOAT. No Cap. Some takeaways: 1. Brand awareness & brand recall done at the same time. 2. Haven't seen a KFC ad in a long time, so they did a good job adding their products to the frame. 3. How to grow share-holder value and gain market trust? Kwality dairy was a 5000 crore company (1 Billion USD then in 2016). However the company was struggling on margins and profitability due to a lot of B2B bulk trading which was high volume but low margin and highly volatile. It was a kind of a vicious cycle in its own way. The need of the hour was to maintain and grow our topline while improving our margins. The client wanted to enter the B2C business and build a more stable B2C company. While it seemed easy it was actually a daunting task. The company had to fight giants like Amul and Mother Dairy with strong brands and deep pockets. On top of this we wanted to maintain high margins and not sell at discounted prices which a lot of local players were doing to stay in business. We embarked on a journey to transform the company towards an innovative dairy products company which could eventually sell at par with Amul and Mother Dairy and also new innovative products which could sell at higher margins. We worked closely with all departments on this transformational journey starting with consumer and category understanding, new brand positioning, new products and portfolio strategy, new identity, packaging, selection of brand ambassador, big idea for the brand, agency and film supervision to bring alive our vision across the entire spectrum.
