Gratitude Beyond the Holiday: A Daily Practice for Life Thanksgiving inspires us to reflect on what we’re thankful for—family, friends, health, and opportunities. But why limit this powerful mindset to just one day? Gratitude isn’t a seasonal tradition; it’s a daily practice that shifts how we see the world and connect with others. It helps us celebrate small wins, value diverse perspectives, and find joy even in challenges. Professionally, gratitude builds stronger relationships, boosts morale, and fosters innovation. Personally, it keeps us grounded and focused on what truly matters. Let’s make gratitude a way of life. A kind word to a colleague, a note of appreciation to a mentor, or simply pausing to reflect on the good in our day can create a ripple effect of positivity. Living with a thankful heart doesn’t just change our perspective—it changes the world around us. Let’s inspire each other to make thankfulness a habit! #Gratitude #Thanksgiving #ThankfulEveryDay

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’m celebrating a Week of Gratitude Challenge—and I invite you to join me! I’ve posted quite often that gratitude is a daily practice of mine. The minute I open my eyes I say a prayer of gratitude. Gratitude is more than a fleeting feeling, and it helps us focus on positivity and abundance instead of negativity and the next thing we are striving for. I hope this week you will join me and take intentional steps toward a healthier, more joyful life by reflecting on the people, experiences, moments and things we have in our lives. Here’s the challenge for the week. Express gratitude for: 🌟 Day 1: 3 loved ones who have enhanced your life. 🌟 Day 2: 3 meaningful experiences you’re grateful for. 🌟 Day 3: 3 colleagues who’ve made a difference in your journey. 🌟 Day 4: 3 mentors or teachers who’ve guided you. 🌟 Day 5: 3 opportunities that shaped your path. 🌟 Day 6: 3 of the most impactful things you‘ve learned. 🌟 Day 7: 3 prized possessions and why they mean so much to you. This exercise is not just about gratitude but about intentional focus on what makes our lives so fulfilling Here’s to making gratitude the heart of the holiday season. #LLPNow #makingwaves #Thanksgiving #gratitude #intentional

“Wear gratitude like a cloak, and it will feed every corner of your life.” One of my mother’s cherished Thanksgiving traditions was to go around the table and share something we were grateful for that year, no matter who joined us. It was a simple act, yet it shifted the energy of the entire evening, filling the room with warmth and connection. As we prepare to welcome friends and family, or even if you spend the day in quiet reflection, may you embrace the power of gratitude in your own life. Research tells us that cultivating gratitude can improve physical health, reduce stress, and enhance emotional resilience. From a wealth-being perspective, gratitude guides us to make mindful decisions, aligning our financial goals with what truly matters most. As you gather this Thanksgiving, we encourage you to reflect on the wealth of intangibles health, relationships, and the opportunities ahead that define a meaningful life. Wishing you a holiday filled with gratitude, well-being, and the company of those you hold dear. With love + light Ana Ramos and The Amida Team

November is National Gratitude Month – Let’s Celebrate the Power of Thankfulness As we approach Thanksgiving this Thursday, it’s the perfect time to pause and reflect on gratitude—the incredible emotion that can transform our perspective and elevate our lives. Gratitude is more than just saying "thank you." It’s a mindset, a practice, and a way of being. When we focus on what we’re grateful for, we shift our attention away from lack and toward abundance, opening our hearts to joy and positivity. 🌟 As Melody Beattie beautifully said: “Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity... It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.” This Thanksgiving, and every day, take a moment to reflect on the people, experiences, and simple joys that bring meaning to your life. Write them down, share them with loved ones, or simply hold them in your heart. 🙌 “The more grateful I am, the more beauty I see.” – Mary Davis Let’s make gratitude a daily practice—not just for a month or a holiday, but as a way to cultivate happiness, resilience, and connection. What are you most grateful for this year? Let’s celebrate together by sharing our gratitude in the comments. 🍁💛 Wishing you a heart full of gratitude and a very Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃✨ 🌟 Please Like ❤️ / Comment ✍️ / Share 🚀 #Gratitude #NationalGratitudeMonth #Thanksgiving #Thankfulness #PositiveMindset #CelebrateTheGood #MindsetMatters #PositiveEffects

Gratitude as a Way of Life Thanksgiving is a season that reminds us to pause and reflect on what we’re grateful for. But gratitude isn’t just a holiday practice—it’s a powerful mindset that can transform every area of our lives. Here’s how gratitude shows up: 1️⃣ In Challenges: Even the hard moments teach us something. Gratitude for the lessons we gain can help us grow and build resilience. 2️⃣ In Relationships: Saying “thank you” to those who support, challenge, or inspire us deepens bonds and builds trust. 3️⃣ In Everyday Life: Recognizing the small joys—a smile from a stranger, a kind gesture, or a moment of quiet—grounds us in the present. What I’m reflecting on this Thanksgiving: Gratitude isn’t just about the “big wins.” It’s about embracing all parts of life, even the imperfect ones, because they shape who we are. Let’s take a moment this week to thank someone who’s made an impact on us. Who are you most thankful for, and why? Share your thoughts below—I’d love to hear them! #Gratitude #Thanksgiving #Reflection #ThankfulMoments

This is Day 4 of our Thanksgiving Week Gratitude Challenge! I love this quote by Brene Brown. A gratitude practice has a direct, positive impact on our happiness. We don’t have to chase the “extraordinary moments”. Being mindful and present for our life as it is truly happening right now allows us to connect to the many opportunities for gratitude. What are you grateful for today? Please comment, share, and add to this conversation. #ThanksgivingGratitudeChallenge #Gratitude #Thankfulness #Blessed

🍁 Reflecting on Gratitude and Legacy This Thanksgiving 🍁 As Thanksgiving approaches, I find myself pausing to reflect on the true meaning of gratitude, connection, and legacy. This day is more than a celebration of abundance and shared meals—it’s an opportunity to honor the people, experiences, and values that shape our lives. For me, Thanksgiving is a reminder of the power of community. Whether it’s the ballroom floor, the boardroom, or the spaces where we come together to create and inspire, we all carry the ability to elevate one another. Gratitude fuels this, allowing us to recognize the beauty of our journeys and the potential in what lies ahead. I’ve learned to value life’s essentials: the support of loved ones, the energy to push forward, and the creativity to build something lasting. These aren’t just personal truths—they reflect what I aim to embody in my work, whether it’s helping others define their brand, build their legacy, or navigate the entrepreneurial world with confidence and grace. This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for the amazing individuals in my life—my family, friends, clients, and collaborators. Each of you is part of a larger story, one where we strive to make an impact, not just for ourselves but for those who come after us. As you gather around your tables, I encourage you to think about your legacy. What mark are you leaving on the world? How can gratitude and connection inspire your next steps? Take this time to rest, recharge, and dream. Let this holiday remind you that success is not just in the achievements but in the relationships, lessons, and moments of joy that shape our lives. From my family to yours, I wish you a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and inspiration to reach new heights. Thank you for being part of my journey and for allowing me to be part of yours. Happy Thanksgiving, and cheers to building a legacy of gratitude and purpose! #Thanksgiving2024 #Gratitude #LegacyBuilding #LaurenLaPointe #ElevateYourBrand #BuildYourLegacy #InspireAndConnect

Thanksgiving Reflections on Gratitude. “I awoke this morning with devout thanksgiving for my friends, the old and the new.”– Ralph Waldo Emerson As Thanksgiving approaches, I find myself reflecting on what gratitude truly means in our lives. Even on our unpleasant days, there is the natural gratitude of being alive. We are here, breathing, and able to face our challenges, head-on, surrounded by the people we love. 👉 This realization is not just comforting, it is transformational. Consider those frustrating days at work, where things do not go as planned. We often find ourselves caught up in the stress and disappointment. But stepping back, we can see the bigger picture. With every challenge, we are presented with an opportunity to gain experience and grow. 👉 It is about shifting our focus from what is going wrong to what is going right! Gratitude is the journey of living with a continuous appreciation of all the things we have to be thankful for and things we look forward to. 🙏 Gratitude is the ever-unfolding gift that we give to ourselves and to those around us. 🙏 “I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought; and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.” – G.K. Chesterton I continue to be incredibly grateful for all those people in this world whose kindness and hopefulness is not a strategy but rather a way of life. Have a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend everyone! Thanksgiving to yourself Cultivating gratitude for stronger leadership Today, as families across the United States come together to celebrate Thanksgiving, we should remember to be grateful—but not just towards our family, friends, colleagues and work partners. In our fast-paced and highly competitive society, how often do we pause and appreciate OURSELVES for who we are and for what we have achieved —big or small? Probably, not often enough! Why is it relevant? - Expressing gratitude triggers the release of dopamine and serotonin in our brains -neurotransmitters linked to happiness and contentment. This will boost our mood, while also helping to alleviate stress and anxiety. - When we acknowledge and appreciate ourselves, we enhance our capacity to value others, thereby strengthening our #leadership, fostering meaningful #connections, promoting #collaboration, and inspiring #progress. “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them.” The inspiring words of John F. Kennedy highlight that true gratitude is not only about expressing words —whether to ourselves or others—and lies in giving those words meaning through our actions. Whether or not you celebrate Thanksgiving, #Gratitude is a timeless practice that transcends cultures and seasons, offering benefits that endure far beyond the present moment. #Thanksgiving #SelfGratitude #ThankfulLeadership
