Marriott is on the move! 🔦 Marriott International is taking the hospitality industry by storm with its ambitious expansion plans. The company is set to add a staggering 573,000 rooms to its pipeline in 2023, making it a record year for new hotel signings. 🌎 Marriott's growth is not limited to one region, as significant signings are also taking place in countries like Canada, Mexico, China, Vietnam, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and India. ☀ The acquisition of City Express in Mexico added an impressive 150 hotels and 17,500 rooms to Marriott's portfolio. 🌻 What's even more impressive is that around one quarter of Marriott openings in 2023 were conversions of existing hotels, and the company signed a record 184 properties during the year, which will see close to 65,000 rooms switch to Marriott brands. With growth across all markets, the future continues to look promising for Accor. 🌸 Marriott International announces robust growth across the Caribbean and Latin America in 2023  The region continued meaningful expansion across all segments from midscale to all-inclusive, and residential to luxury; conversions remained a main driver of growth. Today we reported our third quarter earnings results, which demonstrated the continued strength of our business model, market-leading brands and commercial engine. EMEA continued to lead the way globally in terms of RevPar performance and saw record occupancy during the quarter.    The region benefited from leisure and group travel related to the Olympics and Paralympics in France as well as the Euros in Germany. We also saw strong growth in Türkiye. Our development also continued at pace and we opened more than one hotel a week throughout the quarter. We marked several development milestones including opening our 900th hotel in EMEA as well as debuting our new premium economy brand, Spark by Hilton, and our all suites brand, Embassy Suites by Hilton, in the UK and UAE respectively. 🌸 Meliá Hotels International: Annual results 2023  Meliá earned €130 million (+8.3% vs. 2022) and recorded revenues of €1,928.8 million (+14.8%), consolidating the positive trend in occupancy and average rate, thanks to its brands and digital strength. It's time we take action to protect and restore our precious forests and oceans and finally Earth before it's too late. They should respect to all thoughts without considering racism and finally developing to keep our planet Earth . We have no other place to live as alternative except Earth .
