Does breast reduction surgery affect your ability to breastfeed? Dr. Aniketh Venkataram, noted plastic surgeon from The Venkat Center, addresses this common concern. Breast reduction surgery involves removing only a part of the breast, usually leaving enough tissue for breastfeeding. However, some women may naturally have difficulty producing enough milk, which is not related to the surgery itself.
