I pulled this panel together because: 1. 😍- I love Maine's small local businesses and 17,000+ of them are owned by people aged 55+ 2. 3x - Local businesses circulate three times more money in their communities than absentee-owned companies. 3. ⚖ - entrepreneurs acquiring local businesses can begin to close the racial and gender wealth gap. If you can't attend all of Startup Week but want to learn more about models of entrepreneurship through acquisition, let me know!

Martha, thank you for assembling such a great panel of outstanding experts on the topic! I enjoyed the varying perspectives which helped me understand the concept of ETA, an area of which I was not aware. Very exciting, especially for its application in Maine. Thank you!

So wish I could make this with my husband, proud ETA owner of Wood Wizard Hand Crafted Cherry Wood Products. Thank you for bringing a focus to this, Martha!
