As leading powers in the Med & the Middle East, Egypt and Turkey are showing how historic relationships can evolve into modern, strategic collaborations on all aspects especially when the challenges are exactly the same for both countries, economically & geopolitically. This collaboration underscores the tangible results of a dynamic bilateral relationship that has gained incredible immediate momentum in 2024 following the historic mutual visits of Turkish president Erdogan to Cairo 02/2024 and Egypt's president Sisi to Turkey in September 2024 after 11 years of extremely stressed poli-economic relationships. Bilateral Trade between Egypt & Turkey set at $11bn in 2023 equating approx. 25% of both countries trades with USA in 2023 for example can be a great motivation for these numbers to grow and for both business communities to mutually benefit and for Egypt to develop the new go-to market initiatives especially to the US market and especially in the Food sector where both countries can lead the way if not already.
