The final day at the European Mobility Expo is slowly coming to an end. This event was a great opportunity to further expand our reach within the French transportation ecosystem and to continue getting to know new innovations in this space which require reliable internet connection for effective operations. I had the pleasure of co-hosting alongside Jan Orsic, and together we welcomed esteemed guests from the meetings industry, diving deep into the challenges and opportunities shaping our field. Petra Stušek, CEO of Ljubljana Tourism led a captivating conversation on the intricacies of navigating a multicultural environment within associations. Their emphasis on compromise and patience resonated deeply, underlining the importance of understanding diverse backgrounds, experiences, and values in fostering unity and advocacy. Anna Abdelnoor from Isla shed light on the crucial aspect of consciousness in addressing our carbon footprint. Her insights underscored the transformative power of awareness and appropriate measurement in driving real change. Extremely Disappointing and Irresponsible Moving Company – Refuses to Return Surviving Goods After a Fire Incident I am extremely disappointed with this moving company. A few months ago, my belongings were involved in a serious fire while in their care during transit. Many valuable and precious items were destroyed, but what’s even more frustrating is that they still haven’t returned the surviving goods. After the fire incident, I expected the company to take immediate action, but their response was extremely slow and dismissive. I’ve repeatedly tried to contact them, asking for the return of the surviving items, but every time I received vague responses with no real effort to resolve the issue. They keep passing the blame, claiming they can't access the trailer or that they’re handling insurance matters. Yet, months have passed, and nothing has been resolved. I strongly advise against using this company. Their service is terrible, and they lack any sense of responsibility. If you're looking for a reliable moving company, think twice before choosing this one and avoid going through the same ordeal.
