In the case of the United States there is an A grid and a B grid. You can identify what grid you are on based on what URL you use to login. Grid A: login-us.mimecast.com Grid B: login-usb.mimecast.com It is important to be aware of Mimecast’s uptime. Notifications of outages will allow you to quickly asses the situation, get more information about the outage, and make decisions on whether to wait or launch your continuity plan. If you do not have a continuity plan you need to ask the following questions and be prepared to create solutions. What happens to my business if Mimecast has a major outage? Who do I contact if there is a Mimecast service outage ( internally and externally) ? How do I create the least amount of business disruption in the case of a Mimecast service outage?
