FSR released a new study regarding NextGen Casual. The results: Providing a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere with physical menus, meals prepared to order, and popular pricing for everyday dining are, by far, the most important considerations for choosing a restaurant to visit. Interestingly enough health and technology were not high considerations. Click this link to read the article, full of insights. https://lnkd.in/e7EhgGJY Danny Klein very interesting results!

As many of you have come to realize, the new dining reality is characterized by adaptability, innovation, and a relentless focus on meeting the evolving needs and preferences of today's diners. One notable trend that has caught my eye is the growing reluctance of restaurants to accommodate large parties of diners. Instead, establishments are opting to focus on smaller more intimate gatherings, catering to the preferences of those who are seeking personalized experiences and heightened attention to detail. Although this can help diners create more controlled and intimate atmospheres that ensure guest receives the utmost care and attention, we can't ignore the other side of the coin: some folks still enjoy dining in large groups. It will be interesting to see how this new trend makes restaurants balance out the different preferences among clients and how they can best distribute their dining spaces to accommodate these preferences. #DiningInnovation #GroupDining #DiningTrends #RestaurantTrends

What do you find more beneficial in restaurants? LED lighting with customization and flexibility for creating various ambiances or improved light quality for a better dining experience? In restaurants, the lighting sets the tone for the dining experience. Customizable LED solutions offer the flexibility to create various ambiances, whether it’s a cozy, intimate setting or a bright, lively environment. As we move through 2024, it's becoming clear that solo dining is more than just a passing trend. With a 7% increase in online conversations about solo dining experiences (AF & Co. + Carbonate), restaurants are taking notice and adapting to meet the needs of this growing market. Many restaurants are now offering dedicated solo dining options, such as special menus featuring signature dishes paired with a glass of wine, as well as comfortable bar seating and inviting lounge areas. These thoughtful touches aim to make the solo dining experience more enjoyable and accessible. On a global scale, restaurants are also developing unique offerings for individual diners. From pizza joints introducing handheld pockets and melts to the long-standing tradition of personalized dining in Japanese omakase restaurants, the solo dining trend is inspiring creativity and innovation across the industry. For restaurateurs, embracing solo diners is no longer just an option—it's a smart business strategy. By creating welcoming spaces and tailored menus, restaurants can differentiate themselves and build loyalty among a growing segment of the dining population. As the restaurant industry continues to evolve, the rise of solo dining serves as a reminder that adaptability and understanding customer needs always will be key to success. 🍽️ Are Digital Menus Diminishing the Dining Out Experience? 📱More restaurants are switching to digital menus, but does this enhance our dining experience or detract from it? There’s a unique charm in flipping through a physical menu that a digital screen just can’t match. If browsing a menu on my phone is the only option, why not just order from home? Dining out is to keep the phones away and socialise. There the restaurants want us to hold the phone again. where are those uniquely designed menu cards? What are your thoughts? #DiningOut #DigitalTransformation #CustomerExperience
