Years ago I accepted a sales role in a firm and upon resumption I realize they've sacked 3 sales staff in the past 1year in that particular territory I was assigned. The issue with the territory is they have unrealistic expectations due to past experience from the territory that is not in conformity with the current reality. I knew I was already in for a long ride. The rest is history. Please do your own investigation before accepting any sales job mostly if you have a job handy and also check how often the company post for sales vacancies as this can be a pointer to something serious. #salesmanager #sales #salesrepresentative

Field sales job comes with its own set of challenges and hurdles that sales professionals need to overcome. 👨💼 Some of the key challenges include: long working hours, ⌛ uncertain income, 🎉 extensive travel, 🚗 dealing with rejection, 🛑 and the pressure to meet targets. 🎯 Long working hours often mean that field sales professionals need to be available beyond the typical 9-5 schedule, 🥉 impacting their work-life balance and personal time. The uncertainty of income is another significant challenge. Unlike salaried positions, field sales professionals often rely on commissions, which can vary greatly from month to month. 🎀 Extensive travel is a common aspect of field sales roles.
