Qualitative research from Nesta on the impact of the 2-child limit on Universal Credit - aside from the obvious significant financial impact, this explores the impact on parent wellbeing, family resources and early childhood development and learning. We really must be giving our youngest children a guaranteed level of support, whoever they are, wherever they are born and whoever their family is. #BabyandToddlerGuarantee #EarlyMomentsMatter #ForEveryChild https://lnkd.in/efJWXdzs
How might the two-child limit policy be affecting children’s early learning?

Tomorrow is 4/24/24, and Freedom 4/24 aims to raise $4,240 to prevent child exploitation. Research shows that traffickers are grooming elementary-aged students, but education can save lives. Freedom 4/24's Human Trafficking Prevention Curriculum for grades 5-12 is piloting in schools, but they need funding to continue offering it to schools across Virginia and the US at no cost. Their goal is to remove all barriers to education, ensuring every child receives life-saving education. It costs approximately $24 to educate one student. Join us in supporting this cause by donating to help them reach their goal. Every dollar counts, and your contribution can make a difference in the life of a child. #endhumantrafficking Donate now: https://lnkd.in/e3fMq_Yu

🌟 Empowering Nonprofits to Maximize Their Mission 🌟 At SpiceX, we believe that nonprofits should be able to focus on their mission, not get bogged down by complex workflows and administrative burdens. That's why we're passionate about partnering with organizations to create efficient, scalable solutions through our low-code/no-code platform. A few examples that show the difference SpiceX makes: Conklin Davis Center for the Visually Impaired used our platform to streamline their case tracking and reporting processes, which improved visibility and accelerated reimbursement. This allows them to redirect more time and resources to their clients. Childhelp.org, a vital resource for children in need, leveraged SpiceX to simplify operations, reducing overhead and allowing their team to devote more energy toward their mission. Nonprofits deserve technology that amplifies their impact, and with SpiceX, they get a solution that's adaptable, scalable, and requires minimal technical lift. We’re proud to support these organizations and look forward to empowering many more. 👉 If your nonprofit could benefit from a solution like this, let’s connect and explore how we can support your mission. We have a special program for nonprofits that make an impact. ❤️ #Nonprofit #Impact #LowCode #NoCode #TechForGood #Innovation #SpiceX #MissionDriven #CaseStudy

First, there is a commission that reviews the guidelines for child support every 4 years. The guidelines are based on the cost of raising children. Those costs include parents driving more to/from school or an extracurricular activity, the cost of those activities, larger homes that need more heat, more milk or food in the fridge, school fees, cough syrup when a kid gets sick, co-pays for the doctor, clothes, haircuts, etc. Every parent incurs those additional costs. Giving Tuesday: Make a difference in a kid’s future! This is your chance to help deserving students overcome tragedy to pursue their dreams. Today, on Giving Tuesday, we’re reminded that every act of generosity counts. At Kids’ Chance of Oregon, we are dedicated to supporting the children of workers who have been injured or killed on the job by connecting them with scholarships to pursue higher education or career training. Why it matters... When a parent or guardian sustains a life-altering injury or tragically loses their life on the job, the ripple effects on the family are profound. These children often face financial hardship and the added burden of uncertainty about their futures. But with your help, we can offer these children the opportunity to achieve their dreams and build a brighter future through education. How you can help... This Giving Tuesday, consider making a donation to Kids’ Chance of Oregon. Your gift will help us support students so that we can serve more eligible kids than ever before. Together, we can create lasting change. www.kidschanceoforegon.com

Summer is fast approaching, and for many students experiencing #homelessness, these are the months they are most vulnerable to go without the supports they receive when schools are in session. American Rescue Plan-Homeless Children and Youth funds can help school districts maintain connections with families, add capacity to liaisons to provide summer supports, and help ensure students are ready to return to school in the fall.💡 Download our Two-Pager on the benefits and considerations when providing summer activities with ARP-HCY funds. ➡️ https://bit.ly/3wUKq23
