Advocacy is a continuous process that can occur at different levels and in several forms. Gifted children need to have their rights and needs supported. In this regard, educators, parents, and legislators can be their spokespersons. They can affect changes to better policies, services, and programs for the gifted. In this webinar, the presenters will share strategies and tips for how to design successful advocacy messages and, then, to contribute to making a difference in the lives of gifted children around the world. Your local and regional trail efforts are critical. Honestly, they’re the bedrock of trail advocacy. And IMBA programs complement and boost that work by teaching people involved in trails to be most effective with available tools and resources. Your support helps IMBA develop new programs, free resources, and grant opportunities that enable progress. That support is critical as we look ahead to meet our goal of partnering with 250 communities by the end of 2025. Leading with trails is our specialty – help us with that journey: https://lnkd.in/gnVpf6jc

One of the services we provide at Wisdom Tree Communities is advocacy, where we give a voice to parents whose children face educational challenges. This journey can often be quite isolating for parents and even more challenging for the children involved. When challenging systems or systemic problems, it can feel like you’re up against the world. This quote reminded me of all the parents I have stood with so they could “stand up for their child and stand against the world.” As I always say, an empowered parent raises an empowered child. I dedicate this quote to all the parents who understand they are their child’s first advocate. #Advocacy #ParentSupport #EmpoweredParenting #ChildEducation #WisdomTreeCommunities #EducationalChallenges #SystemicChange #ParentalAdvocacy #Empowerment #StandUpForChildren
