I just wrapped up an eye-opening Extern - ship experience at Energy Innovation Capital! ⚡🔋 I'm thrilled to share that I've recently completed an enriching Extern-ship program at Energy Innovation Capital, where I extensively explored the world of clean, accessible, and abundant energy technologies, with a specific focus on Electric Vehicles Infrastructure. This segment is driving significant innovation and change in the energy sector, and I'm grateful for the chance to have contributed to this exciting field. Throughout the program, I honed a diverse range of skills essential for navigating the dynamic landscape of venture capital investing. From conducting comprehensive market analysis to leveraging strategic and creative problem-solving techniques, every aspect of this experience has been invaluable in shaping my understanding of the industry and preparing me for future challenges. One of the highlights was conducting due diligence on a startup, where I had the chance to apply my analytical skills to assess its viability and growth potential. I also had the opportunity to prepare a market analysis presentation, contributing to investment decisions and gaining firsthand experience in the venture capital process. Key skills that I've developed include strategic problem-solving, creative thinking, proficiency in PowerPoint, ability to conduct market research, time management, and critical thinking. These skills have not only equipped me with the tools to thrive in the energy sector but also prepared me for success in any future endeavors. I did this all while balancing my ongoing SIWES Internship Program. Going to work each day and finding time to complete both commitments was truly a daunting task, but it taught me how to manage my time better and reinforced my dedication to pursuing opportunities for growth and learning. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Extern and Energy Innovation Capital for providing me with this incredible opportunity. The opportunity surrounding the clean energy transition has never been greater  – if you are starting your career, consider working in a climate-forward role. Here are a few ways to get started: First, you can check out climate job boards and programs searching to train the next generation of clean energy leaders, such as this internship program from Elemental Excelerator: https://lnkd.in/dGMPYQ7k The Biden-Harris administration has also made this a focus with the newly created American Climate Corps, which aims to provide the next generation the skills they need to succeed in tomorrow’s climate economy: https://www.acc.gov/ Already have a career path in mind? In most cases—whether you’re just starting out or making a pivot—it’s possible to do what you love, and what you do well, as a full-time member of the climate movement. If you’re a marketing executive, work for a company in cleantech. If you’re a teacher, build climate into your lesson plans and make sure your students understand the opportunities in cleantech as they consider their future careers. If you’re in sales, help sell products that reduce carbon pollution. Regardless of how you choose to embrace your role as a climate person, there are opportunities that will fit your skillset and lifestyle.

Excited to share that I've successfully completed my internship at the National Productivity Council. During this time, I had the incredible opportunity to contribute to two impactful projects: Project 1: Conduct a comprehensive environmental and social impact audit for six biosafety lab infrastructure projects funded by the World Bank. Responsibilities: 🌟 Developed and integrated environmental auditing checklists for biosafety laboratories. 🌟 Conducted extensive research on air quality, fugitive emissions, microbial management, and Autoclave, Incinerator emissions (ash, SO₂, NOₓ). 🌟 Evaluated air quality parameters (PM10, PM2.5, NOₓ, SO₂, CO, VOCs), water quality (pH, DO, BOD, COD, heavy metals, microbial contamination), soil quality (pH, heavy metals, organic matter, nutrient content), and noise levels (ambient noise vs. regulatory limits). 🌟 Conducted data analysis using STATA on air, water, and soil quality. 🌟 Ensured compliance with emission standards and waste management protocols. 🌟 Coordinated with team members for data collection, site inspections, and stakeholder engagement. 🌟 Compiled and structured content for the project proposal to align with environmental and social standards. Project 2: Develop ideation and framework for Circular Economy focused projects. Responsibilities: ♻️ Created frameworks for Circular Economy Groups among concentric and value chain-based enterprises. ♻️ Developed a programme of action for Ministries to enable the application of Circular Economy techniques. ♻️ Worked on applications such as Product Composition Declaration, resource embedding, and emissions embedding. ♻️ Facilitated the adoption and application of Circular Economy techniques among industrial units through structured programmes of action.
