What a whirlwind of networking events! From rubbing elbows with industry leaders to winning the cash raffle, it’s been quite the ride. Farha Roofing Extravaganza 🏠: Kicked things off at a fantastic event hosted by Farha Roofing, where I got to catch up with the fabulous Shelby Vilano. [who looked stunning in what I am calling a St. Patrick Day dress!] I also brought along Craig Thatcher from ADH Solar— I love connecting people and let's say that this was golden! The event was nothing short of spectacular, giving us a chance to meet everyone from the owners to the sales team and local staff. Shout out to Tianna Kelly. We discovered we have a mutual connection - the fabulous Krissy Buck! What really stood out was the amazing company culture at Farha. It’s clear they’re not just about roofs; they’re about building community. Glendale Chamber of Commerce Breakfast 🎤: The usual suspects were all there, and guess what? I won the cash raffle! 🥳 It’s always a thrill to catch up with familiar faces and see how we’re all moving and shaking in our respective fields. Live Networking Magic 🌟: Then, there was the event with Catherine and Tab Pierce, where, lo and behold, I ran into Craig again! It’s moments like these that remind me how small and interconnected our world is. Networking isn’t just about exchanging business cards; it’s about creating lasting relationships that open doors to new opportunities. Each handshake, and each conversation is a potential gateway to great adventures in business and collaborations. #Networking #BusinessGrowth #CommunityBuilding #Chamberevents

What comes to mind when you think of networking? Chasing sales? Fear of rejection? Awkward conversations? Boring events? Being talked at by so-called experts? But now, think about the last time you had dinner with friends, grabbed a drink with colleagues, or played a round of golf. You probably wouldn’t call that networking, right? Yet, in those moments, you were building relationships, sharing laughs, and connecting in a meaningful way✨ For Lisa Nott and I, THIS is what true networking is all about 💫 It’s the sense of camaraderie we’ve built at The Property Black Book Club. If this sounds like your style of networking your last chance to join us in 2024 will be at our November Events. They are on: 5th November, BERKSHIRE https://lnkd.in/eg2WgX46 OR 21st November, OXFIRDSHIRE https://lnkd.in/efHgNPKJ Jeevan Gill #Networking #Partnerships #Collaborations #Fun #BuildRelationships ✨

Day 256: Blueprint Social - Construction Networking! 🤝🌟 Attended Blueprint Social today, a monthly networking event in the construction industry. It feels fantastic to be back into networking after a few months overseas and got to hang with my mate Jeremy McDonald who’m we actually met at an construction industry event 10+ years ago. Networking is crucial for business growth, not just for potential leads but for the diverse perspectives and ideas you gain. It’s amazing how much you can learn from different industries—new trends, innovative solutions, or just fresh ways to tackle challenges. Today I got to meet Polina Radchenko who is building this amazing community and hosting some incredible events. November promises some exciting surprises including property trivia! 🎉 What I love most about these events is the chance to build genuine connections. It’s not just about handing out business cards but engaging in meaningful conversations that can lead to collaborative opportunities down the line. Networking isn’t just about immediate gains; sometimes, it’s about planting seeds for the future. 🌱 A conversation today could turn into a partnership or a business opportunity months or even years down the line. #Networking #BusinessGrowth #BlueprintSocial #ConstructionIndustry #Connections #CROFTI #Day256of366

Building trust in real estate goes beyond just transactions—it’s about being truly involved in your community. Attending local events, supporting businesses, and showing up in person can create lasting relationships that lead to referrals. At a recent #realestatemarketing webinar, Kyle Christie shared some powerful tips on how real estate agents can leverage community involvement to grow their businesses. Great local networking session at Plumpton Racecourse last night with the Haywards Heath Business Association, despite having to brave the storms to get there! 🌧️ After stepping back from networking last year due to life events, it feels amazing to reconnect with my local business community. It’s good to be back. 🙂 Working from home can be pretty isolated - full of video calls and emails. These events remind you of the value of face-to-face interactions, and you also get to explore some fantastic local venues! While I’m not there to sell my services (though that can be a nice side-effect), it’s really about meeting new people and feeling part of the community. 🥰 Plus there is a lot of support out there for local businesses which you might not find out about without your local business association. We had a great introduction to the West Sussex Growth Hub last night so I’m excited to dive into the resources they have on offer! What is your favourite thing about local networking? #networking #localbusiness #community #businesssupport

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀?😐 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘩, 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘰. Here are some common mistakes to avoid to make the most out of networking! ❌ Just attend and wing it ✅ Prep your pitch and goals beforehand to make a real impact! ❌ Ghosting After the Meet ✅ We’re busy, I get it, but not following up? Big oops. A quick 'nice to meet you' message can go a long way in nurturing those new connections. ❌ Sales Pitch Overload ✅ Let’s focus on bonding over our mom in business struggles and successes, not just our sales and leads. ❌ Comfort Zone Cuddling ✅ Sticking to the known faces feels cozy but doesn’t grow our network. Let’s challenge ourselves to say 'hi' to new faces every time. Remember, networking shouldn't be intimidating. Especially when you're at a Working Moms of San Antonio networking event 😉 𝘞𝘦'𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘰𝘺𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦! 💕Make sure to save this post later & 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘂𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: https://lnkd.in/g4w_hj7j - - - - - #sanantonionetworking #networkingtips #sanantoniomoms #womeninbusiness #networking #sanantoniosmallbusiness #sanantonio #womensupportingwomen #womenentrepreneurs #localbusiness

One of the things I love best about networking in person is the quality of conversations and the mutual empowerment among everyone. You just cannot get this type of interaction going online. Each month I host networking lunches with 7 associates I want to get to know better. Last week I caught up with some attendees from my Summer Networking Event for lunch at Verace Pizza in Oakville. Maria Stipic, Bhargavi Rajesh, Faith Evan West, PCC, David Sanders, CPA, CMA, Robbie Spier Miller, Treena Reilkoff and I shared how we're adjusting to some of the biggest disruptions we're facing. The exchange of ideas is one of the best aspects of networking! I'm curious who else is gathering their business associates for in person meetings like this. If you are post what you're up to below!
