At Infratel Africa, children are dear to us that's why we put them at the center of our initiatives, providing them with e-learning centers to access quality education and also, donating generously to motherless baby homes to cater for their welfare. Today, as part of the Hunger Relief Initiative Project, we successfully carried out an outreach program aimed at enhancing the lives and well-being of residents in urban slum settlements. Specifically, the project targeted ten families in a slum in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, providing them with cash donations generously contributed by philanthropic individuals. The outreach program yielded immense satisfaction, evident in the overwhelming joy and gratitude expressed by the beneficiaries. The initiative's impact extended beyond mere financial assistance, offering a sense of hope and recognition to those often overlooked. This endeavour highlights the significance of community-driven efforts in bridging the gap between vulnerability and resilience. By supporting marginalized communities, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering inclusive development and social welfare. Loudoun Hunger Relief has released our 2023/2024 Report to the Community. Highlights: -Need in #Loudoun has increased, so our service levels have increased. -Our new Community Services Center is open and helping people with referrals and direct connections to other needed services. -LHR served about 14,000 unduplicated Loudoun residents each of the previous two fiscal years. That means that 14,000 people got food at least once at LHR, and some of them got food as frequently as once a week. -Volunteers gave the equivalent of almost 7 FTE's each of the last two years.
